3. Load Products

3.1 Load Products in Spiral Slots

  1. Pull out the tray and place products from front to back. The tray can be hanged downward for about 30° for the convenience to load products

  2. Choose the suitable spiral for various sizes of products, test dispensing to get best placement.

  3. The products should lean backward.

  4. For merged slots, the spirals end should be at 6 o’ clock.

  5. Push the tray drawer back to the bottom until you hear a thump. Before closing the door, please lightly pull out the tray to ensure it is secured.

3.2   How to Modify Spiral

1) Hold the end of the spiral and pull out the spiral vertically. (can feel the elasticity at the backside.)

2) Rotate the spiral to the desired position. Release the spiral.

3.3 Wrong Practices of Loading Products in Spiral Slot

The top of the good should not touch the upper tray.

The good’s width should not excess the width of the spiral/slot.

The good should not be too small to be hold by the spiral.

A white rectangular snack box (LANDY Castle) placed at an angle inside a vending machine spiral slot, top touching near the upper tray area.

A red bag of chips positioned in a spiral slot, showing the bag width exceeding the spiral/slot width inside the vending machine.

A long thin cylindrical candy package lying across multiple spirals, too small to be held securely by a single spiral.

The product is too thick for the spiral spacing.

The product should not reach out the tray. The elevator movement will be interfered.

After push back the tray, the spiral may rebounce upward, causing the product to slip out.

A sagging blue snack bag partially hanging out of the tray, interfering with nearby elevator/slide components inside the machine.

A blue Lays bag (lime flavor) placed on a spiral where the spiral movement and rebound may cause slipping; front of bag visible with lime images.

3.4 Load Products on Belt Slots

  1. Place the product directly on the tray. Not recommend to pull out the tray to load products because uneven tray may result in product squeeze issue.

  2. The single belt slot is available for 6 goods due to belt limited bearing capacity (2.5kg for single4.5kg for dual belt slot.) And product thickness should be greater than 50 mm to stand stable on the belt.

3.5 Wrong Practices of Loading Products on Belt Slot

The product is too small compared with the belt width.

The product isn’t placed at the center of the belt.

The unusual light product may be rotated on belt slot and trigger the drop sensor by mistake.

A thin tube-like product (red cosmetic tube) placed on a belt slot showing a narrow product sitting on the conveyor slats with slot labeling visible at the front.

A tilted red soda can leaning to one side on the belt slot, illustrating a product not centered and leaning against the tray wall.

A soda can rotated horizontally on the belt slot, showing the can lying across the conveyor and the drop sensor area near the front of the tray.

Thin product may fall backward on the belt slot.

If a product leans against it's front one. They may drop together.

The longitudinal length of the good should < 100 mm. Otherwise may activate the light sensor before the good is fully moved out.

Two small blue bottles placed together on a belt slot with a black divider/guide visible beside them.
