This section consolidates shortcuts to commonly used Android functions for upload, backup, delete data from storage, internet connection, visual, audio settings, etc.

  1. Open ES browser: Navigate to the Android file manager for system file and flash drive management.


Open Android setting menu: Access settings for internet, display, language, audio, and other phone-like configurations.

Delete all ads: press this button to delete all ads in the following folders and the machine will display the default advertising video. Please exercise caution.

Backup log to flash drive: Insert a flash drive. Click “Backup logs” and the logs will be backed up to a new folder named “TcnLog” in the flash drive.

Copy Program Data: After pressing this button, the system will back up the data to the YSConfig folder.

Backup ads from flash driver: First, you need to create in your flash drive a TcnFolder folder containing the same sub-folders as the above table. Second, put advertisement materials into corresponding sub-folders. Third, insert the flash drive into machine. Finally, press this button. The ads will be copied to corresponding folders in the machine system. Restart the system, and you will see ads display in position as configured.

Software management: to view, open, and uninstall the installed Apps.

Import Program Data: First create a folder named “YSConfig” in your flash drive. Then plug it into the machine. Press this button and the program data will be backed up to the flash drive.

Restore default settings: Enter the advanced menu with the admin password, the machine will clear all parameters and will recover factory settings. Please exercise caution.

Part II

  1. Keep App working in foreground: Enabling this function ensures that the vending App remains in the foreground of the Android system. This prevents the vending the App from being closed by the Android’s self-checking or acceleration mechanisms.

Note: While you are working on other apps, the system may automatically switch to the vending app if this function is enabled. You can temporarily disable this feature.

Quick setup guide: Enabling this function grants access to a quick setup page containing multiple commonly used setup menus for debugging engineer. Activate this function, then press the “Back to shopping page” button in the upper-left corner; the quick set-up page will display.

Note: In TSD54E, the blue config page will show up once “Quick setup guide” is enabled in the System settings section.

Use printer: reserved feature for a vending machine that is equipped with a printer.

Whether to choose payment methods first then pay: when enabling this function, customers have to choose whether to pay in cash or credit card. Usually, it should be kept disabled.

Into the setting page when opening the door: when opening the door switch, the screen will automatically enter setting page. Usually, it should be kept disabled.

Restart Android regularly: Regularly restarting the Android system can help to enhance the system performance and fluidity.

⑦ Reboot time:  this parameter will show only after enabling “Restart Android regularly”, it defines when to restart the system per day, eg set up as “4”, the system will restart at 4:00am in server time.
