Document Overview

Integrating a card dispenser and an Android tablet—Card Priming Station can transform the card priming process from a time-consuming and manual operation to an efficient, automated, and less-error process.

1. Preparation

  1. Put several cards (including registered cards under the same vendor, 250pcs max) into the card storage box of the dispenser and start the Card Priming Station.

    If the message "The card dispenser is connected" appears at the bottom of the screen, then you can use the Card Priming Station normally.

  1. If another error message pops up, you may need to check the status before using the Card Priming Station.

    Please refer to the table attached to remove the error message and use the Card Priming Station normally.

2. Log in

  1. If this is the first time for you to use the Card Priming Station, it will prompt the initial page below to ask you enter the Vendor ID.

  1. If you are not aware of how to find the Vendor ID, click the link below "Vendor ID" or click the "Help" button at the top right corner of the initial page, FAQs below will pop up.

  1. If the Vendor ID matches successfully, you will be redirected to the login page.

  1. Enter the email account that you use to login to Washboard or Scoreboard, then click the "Send security code to email" button.

  1. Enter the one-time security code received by your registered email, then click the "Log in" button.

    In case the security code is not received, after 60 seconds, you can click the "Send security code to email" button again to request resending.

  1. After successfully logging in, the software tool will check whether the license required to provide the card data and vendor key has been downloaded and whether the license is expired. If the message below pops up, you need to click the "Download" button to download the newest valid license.

  1. You will be redirected to the "location selection" page. You can search your desired location by entering at least 3 characters in the search box.  

    Then click the "Next" button.

  1. You can click the "Log Out" button to log out, and the page will not save your previous login information.  

    No need to enter Vendor ID when you open the app next time, you will be shown the login page directly.

Check if the format of email address is correct.

Check if the submitted security code is the last one sent to the email.

Suspended due to the number of attempts exceeded, please try after 24 hours.

Retry after 24 hours.

To prime your cards, it is necessary to download or update the license to your device.

Click the "Download" button to download or update the license.

3. Write Vendor Key and Card Data

  1. Enter the total number of cards that you want to prime and click the "Next" button.

    You can adjust the values of the shortcuts by clicking the "Settings" button at the top right corner.

  1. If you are a vendor in the Integration market, after the card quantity selection, the card priming process will start.

    If you are a vendor in Amusement or Laundry market, you will be asked whether you want to preload amount into the cards.

  1. If you choose "No," a pop-up will appear asking if you want to start card priming now.

    In this pop-up, if you choose "Back," you will be redirected to the main page.

    If you choose "Start," the software tool will send the priming command to the card dispenser.

  1. If you choose "Yes," you will be redirected to the next page to enter the pre-load amount.  

    Card Priming Station will detect the location itself and display the corresponding mode accordingly, without asking users to select the mode first.

  1. After selecting the pre-loading amount and clicking the "Start" button, the Card Priming Station will start card priming. The progress of priming cards will be displayed on the Android tablet

图片 1, 图片1. Regardless of the mode that the vendor chooses, the pre-loading amount will be added to the customer's bonus wallet.

2. You can click the "Stop" button at any time to terminate the card priming process.

The card storage box is empty, you need to refill cards.

Empty the Recycle Bin.

The card dispenser connection has been interrupted. Please check.

Check the connection of the card dispenser.

If the Card Priming Station was logged in by the credentials belonging to an integration market vendor, we will only dispense and register the cards, and do nothing more.

If the Card Priming Station was logged in by the credentials belonging to a laundry or an amusement market vendor, after the card priming process, you can go to Washboard Vendor Portal -> Customers to check the card data by searching the card number.

图片 1, 图片1. If the card was not registered before, Washboard will create a temporary account for the card.

2. If the card was registered before, all the original account information such as phone, address, location will be retained, and we will just add extra value/credit.


4. Switch Vendor ID

If you are an internal user who needs to provide services to multiple vendors, to guarantee the security of vendor information, please follow the steps below to switch Vendor ID.

  1. Click the "Help" button on the top left corner of the initial page.

  1. Click the "KioSoft" logo five times consecutively.

  1. Input your email address and the security code received by the email, then click "Submit."

  1. After successful verification, you will be redirected to the “Vendor ID” page.

5. Upload Logs

The Card Priming Station will always record the latest logs locally until there are only 2GB running memory.

You can manually upload the log to the TMS server. Once the log file is uploaded to the TMS server, the tablet will delete the log file and continue to record the latest logs.

  1. You can click the "Upload Log" button at the top right corner of the location page.

  1. The log file will be uploaded to the TMS server.
