Create Vendor Company on Universal Server
When creating a vendor company on the Universal Server, please pay close attention to the following two fields:
Country/Region: This field sets the default option for the Currency Symbol on this page and determines the available payment gateway when configuring it on the Vendor Portal.
Currency Symbol: The system including both the server and reader uses this field to determine currency-related information, such as the currency units. It is crucial to ensure that this field is defined in accordance with the correspondence outlined in the chart below.

Define Settings on Market Server
To verify the default payment gateway for the vendor, navigate to the Vendor Portal and select Settings > Payment Gateway. Currently, AIB is supported as the payment service for transactions at readers in the European market.
Creating Location & Room
When creating or editing a location, you can configure the language display on the readers by navigating to Location Management > Create/Edit Location > Options > Others. English, French, Spanish, and Romanian are supported at present.
Besides, you can also configure the preferred payment gateway for that specific location by navigating to: Location Management > Create/Edit Location > Payment Gateway.
By default, it follows the payment gateway settings established in the Settings section. However, you have the option to set a custom gateway for this location. Currently, only AIB is supported. Selecting “——” will disable reader transactions at this location.
The configuration made here will determine the payment gateway related fields in the CCM profiles (Universal Pulse, Universal Continental, Universal LG and Ultra Data profiles) under this location.
Creating CCM Profile
When creating or editing the CCM profile for a location, the payment gateway option is predefined based on the existing Payment Gateway settings at the location level. Please note that the Terminal ID is configured to support only a single type of currency, which is specified during the merchant account setup.
If you have configured multiple languages when creating this location, you will need to define the multi-language fields when creating the profile.
