Select the cycle on the machine and insert the coins needed into the Coin Drop, then press the “Start” button on the machine after you hear the beeping sound, then the machine will be started.

2.2 Start Machine with Cloud Card

You can directly tap your card on the Elevate Touch to start the machine and proceed with the payment.

“Processing, Please Wait” will be shown on the screen. After a few seconds, it will enter the transaction mode and will be ready for the transaction.

3.2 Display of Free Play and Special Price Mode

3.2.1 Display of Free Play Mode

If a location supports the Free Play mode (enabled “Free Play” in Vendor Portal → Location Management → Options → Supported payment Type), the Elevate Touch will display the Free Play mode initially. You should tap PRESS TO START to get the free play journey started. Please ensure the payment type(s) and cycle time have been set ahead of time based on your needs in CCM.

About Free Play Mode

Free Play mode offers users the chances to use the service without having to load the account. If it’s enabled, the consumer’s account balance will be replenished by the amount defined in the field “Free Play Refill Amount” when the user’s account balance (credit + bonus) reaches to $0.25. You can log in your vendor portal account and navigate to Location Management > Options tab. Enable “Free Play” and define the “Free Play Refill Amount” to activate the functionality.

About Special Price

You should log in your vendor portal account and navigate to CCM > Universal Pulse > Products Price and Timing > Basic tab to define the value of special price.

The amount needed to start the machine for promotions. The unit is cent. The range should be within 1~99999 on the condition that it is not bigger than the value set for “Price.”

Two payment methods will be supported: 1) cash (mix tender), and 2) credit. The original price will directly jump to the special price once the customer starts the machine or tops off the transaction under the special price mode.

3.2.3 Display of Privilege Mode

Note: This feature is in the pilot phase and has a limited availability to vendors.

Privileges loaded onto the card can be used by the customers to start a game machine. After customers tap the card on the Elevate Touch, it will send the payment request to the server to validate the accessibility of the privilege. If they’re available, one play count will be deducted to start the machine and the remaining play counts will be displayed on the reader’s screen. If the transaction failed due to some reason (e.g., insufficient balance), the privilege will be refunded back to the card automatically.

The display of UIs will be shown as below when the privilege is successfully used and failed to deduct due to the insufficient balance.

Remaining plays counts displayed followed by successful payment

Prompt alert when privilege balance is found to be insufficient
