# Serial Port Settings

> [!WARNING]
> Note: Please keep the default value for serial port settings, or edit under PayRange professional tech support. Change without guidance may lead to unexpected result.

Select the correct serial ports and set proper parameters so that the machine can work and communicate.

- **Control Type:** spiral, elevator, S-shaped, etc., please select the matching type of your machine.
- **Seriport1 group:** 0 (default, please don’t change it.)
- **Motherboard serial port:** Please select the port as actual situation.
- **Motherboard baud rate:** 9600 (default, please don’t change it.)
- **MDB Serial Port:** Please select the port as actual situation.
