Account and Setup

Three items in this function will be introduced: Locations, Sales Tax, and System Parameter.

4.1 Locations

Add New Location

Enter the Locations page, then click Add.

Location Information: detailed information about the location.

Business Information: configure the daily business hours and the business day for rolling over.

Localization: configure Cash Register related fields including time zone, currency, rounding and quick cash denomination.

Time Zone: choose a time zone of the cash register.
Daylight Saving: you can enable it if the selected time zone observes DST (daylight saving time), and then the location will automatically change to the DST of the selected time zone when the DST day comes.

Notes:

1) If the selected time zone doesn’t observe DST, then the Daylight Saving button will NOT be clickable.

2) If the time zone of an existing location is changed, then a dialogue window will pop up stating “Changing Time Zone will affect all transaction reports. Do you wish to continue?”. If you click “Submit,” then the affected reports will begin using the DST when DST day come.

3) The transaction reports will automatically adopt the Location Level Time Zone including: Transaction List, Transaction Detail List, Closeout Report, Prize Redemption Report, Work Order Report, Cash Drawer Report and Sales Order Report.

Quick coin denominations and Cash Drawer Bill denominations will be displayed on Cash Register when Opening/Closing Cash, if the cash register is restarted after setting.
The Language selected here will be set as Cash Register's Location Preferred Language which will affect the view for employees and customers on the Cash Register. The change of Location Preferred Language will be remembered here.

Enable or Disable the Print Merchant Receipt. When it is enabled, Cash Register will print two identical customer's receipts.

Dual Screen Images: To upload images, click the "+" button. You can upload up to six images. Once uploaded, these images will be displayed and continuously scrolled on the POS system, allowing consumers to view store updates or highlights.

Click save to finish the creation of new POS location.

Edit Location Info

For the existing locations, you can view details, delete the location, create a room or delete a room.

If you select View details, the details of the location will pop up. If you need to change some of the information, click Edit button to make the information editable.

If you select Delete button, the prompt below will ask you to confirm the delete of the location.

If you select to Create Room, the prompt below will ask you to fill in the room name and room number.

If you want to Delete Room, click the settings button on the right and click Delete room, then check the room you want to delete then click Delete.

If you want to edit the existing room, click on settings button, then select Edit Room.

Modify room name and room number as you desired, then click Save.

Sales Tax

Enter the Sales Tax page. In this page, you can add new sales tax, edit the sales tax or delete the sales tax.

If you need to add new sales tax, click the Add button.

Fill in the related information and then click save.

Notes:

If you select Variable as type, the Rate field will be presented with a percentage.
If you select Flat Rate as type, the Rate field will become USD.

If you want to edit the sales tax, move your mouse to the icon circled in red then click Edit.

Modify the information as you desired then click Save.

If you want to delete the sales tax, move your mouse to the icon circled in red then click Delete.

Click Confirm to delete the sales tax, or click cancel to preserve it.

System Parameter

Enter System Parameter page, parameters will be presented as is shown below.

If you want to edit the parameter, move your mouse to the icon and then click Edit.

Change the value as you desired then click √ to save the change, or click ⅹ to cancel the change.
