Transfer Balance

To implement a self-service Kiosk transfer flow for Laundry customers and enable the migration of existing ESD or Laundroworks/Cents card balances to new PayRange Cloud Cards, a new button, Transfer Balance, has been added. With this function, customers could transfer their ESD or Laundroworks/Cents card balances to PayRange Cloud Cards through 24/7 self-service access. And if it’s an ESD card, once the balances are successfully transferred, the ESD card will be permanently deactivated.

CCM Profile Configuration

After logging in to the KioCentral, click Profile Builder → Universal → Universal AVU → Machine Profile, and you can select the AVU Type as needed.

After selecting the AVU Type, tap Price and Configuration → Basic Config, and then a new field “Transfer Station” will be displayed. It is disabled by default, and when it’s set as ESD or Cents/Laundroworks, the “TRANSFER BALANCE” button will be displayed on the kiosk idle page. You can set it based on the type of your card.

When completing the changes on the CCM Profile, please remember to save the profile and upgrade it on the kiosk.

Transfer Balance on Kiosk

Please follow the steps below to transfer the balance on the kiosks.

Click the button “Transfer Balance”.

ESD Card: Insert your ESD card in the reader as instructed below. Laundroworks/Cents Card: Enter your old Laundroworks/Cents card number manually.

Then, display the card balance, balance transfer confirmation, and warnings on the kiosk if the card is valid. If any error, a pop-up window will appear.

Tap “Yes” to proceed, or “No” to exit and return to the idle page. ESD Card: When tapping “Yes”, the reader will start to transfer the balance and deactivate the ESD Card. Please note that you should not remove the ESD Card or power off during the process. Laundroworks/Cents Card: When tapping “Yes”, the reader will start to transfer the balance. If any error occurs, an error message will be displayed.

When the deactivation (ESD Card) and balance transfer are successful, the kiosk will dispense a new Cloud Card, register it, and refill it with the old card balance.

If the kiosk fails to kill the ESD card or transfer the Laundroworks/Cents card balance, an error message will display.

When successfully dispensing and refilling the new card, the kiosk will display “Transfer Successful”. And the old ESD card can be removed.

If the kiosk fails to dispense or refill the new card, an error message will be displayed.
