Edge Box Auto Configuration via Server
Install new Edge Box
If there was no Edge Box in this room before, and you want to install a new Edge Box, please follow the steps below.
Install the Edge Box, power it on, and connect it to the network.
Set it up in the Vendor Portal
Log in to the vendor portal → Locations, search for the target location, and click on the Edit button.

Click the "Option" tab and scroll down until you find the "Other" section. Then:
Select "Enable" for "On-Premise Server";
Fill in the three mandatory fields (Network Downtime, Server IP Address, and Server Port) based on what is needed and the location’s server information.
Server IP Address: If needed, please refer to the document KioSoft Edge Box Setup and Upgrade Guide to get the IP.
Server Port: For Elevate Card Connect (CRCS), input 16000. For VC and Ultra, its Server Port is set to 443 by default. If all of them are included in the location, input 16000.

Click on the "Save" button.
Then, the Edge Box will perform the auto configuration.
About 5 to 10 minutes later, after a successful auto setup, the Room View will also update. You can enter the Room View of the location that is equipped with Edge Box, see the detailed info under On Premise Server, and check the Edge Box status.
Log in to the vendor portal → Locations, search for the target location, and click on the "View" button.
