To convert anonymous transactional users into registered account holders, we have added a new feature, Kiosk Registration, which encourages customers to register their accounts immediately after completing a transaction. Then their card is secured, and they can receive follow-up information. It is hoped that this document is helpful for you to have a better understanding of this feature.
Scope and Limitation
Only applies to the VC Touch 17 in the Laundry Market and supports English and Spanish at the present stage.
Card Registration Setting on CCM Profile
After logging in to the KioCentral, go to CCM → Profile Builder → Universal → Universal AVU, and go to Price and Configuration → Basic Config to configure the field, Card Registration, which defaults to Off. When it’s set as “On”, customers will receive a card registration request after they buy new cards, add value to cards (if the card isn’t registered before), and transfer their card balance.

Card Registration on Kiosk
When customers buy a new card, add value to a card (if the card isn’t registered before), and transfer balance, a pop-up window will ask them to register their card. They can select to register or not.
Take the card registration after buying a new card as an example:
After dispensing the new card, a pop-up window will prompt customers to register the card. And customers can select “No Thanks” to reject the application, or “Yes Please” to register their card.
No Thanks: Redirects the user immediately to the Main Home Screen.
Yes Please: Opens the registration form.

When selecting “YES PLEASE”, open the registration form. First Name, Last Name, and Email are mandatory; Phone Number is optional. Click on “CONFIRM” when completed.
A "Thank You" email will also be dispatched upon successful registration. And if the account already exists, a registration error will be shown to let customers know “The {email/phone number} provided is already associated with an existing profile”.

Note
Email field must validate for the standard format (e.g., name@domain.com);
An error message will appear if any mandatory field is empty on “Confirm”;
The screen will automatically close and return to Idle Page if the "Display timeout" duration is reached without user activity.
Only single-card account registration is supported. If users select multiple cards when buying new cards, the registration pop-up window won’t appear.
