This feature allows vendors to define a surcharge value on the reader and apply on the vending machine.

Enable Surcharge at the Location Level
In Vendor Portal → Locations, enable the Surcharge toggle and define the surcharge value. The default setting is disabled, and the default value is 0.01.
Reader UI Display
When a surcharge is enabled at the server/location level and the reader's vending profile includes Credit/Debit card payment, a surcharge prompt appears at the top of the idle screen. The complete prompt text is “A $x.xx Surcharge Will Be Added To Credit/Debit Card Transaction” ($x.xx is the Surcharge Value defined in Vendor Portal → Locations).
