VQ-FM (configured with the Ultra API profile type) now supports French translation with the configurations in the profile for the customer-facing screens. This document introduces the steps to deploy French as its display language.

Configuration in Vendor Portal
To enable French for the deployment location and room, go to KioCentral Vendor Portal → Locations → Create/Edit Location → Options section, and select French as the first language option.
The reader only identifies the first valid language in the profile retrieved from the location configuration. Therefore, ensure that French is the first option in the language field.
VXT currently supports only French and English. It defaults to English when no supported language is selected.
Configuration in CCM Profile
When the location is set to French as the display language in CCM → Machine Data → Kiosoft → Ultra API, you can customize the Reader Display in French.
Screen Title: The title text that will be displayed on the idle screen of the reader.
Sub Screen Title first line: The first line of the text that will be displayed on the payment screen of the reader.
Sub Screen Title second line: The second line of the text that will be displayed on the payment screen of the reader.
Reader UI Display
After setting up the reader profile and changing the language to French, immediately update the reader to reflect the French translation.
It will then display as shown in the following example:
