Feature Deployment Instructions: Supporting French Language

The product now supports multiple languages, currently English and French. This article explains the specific configurations for multilingual support, in addition to the general steps outlined in General Deployment Process.

Create Location & Room

When creating the location and room where the product will be deployed, you need to enable the French language via KioCentral Vendor Portal => Locations => Create/Edit Location => Options section.

  • Click the input box of the parameter “Language” under the “Others” section.

  • Select the languages to be displayed on the product screen.

  • Drag the options to change the display order of the languages as needed.

Language Support

The product supports English and French presently. Other language options will be released in later phases.

Save the Configurations

Remember to save the configurations by clicking the “Save” button at the upper-right corner, otherwise the settings will not be applied to this business location.

Create CCM Profile

If you will use Multi Price mode to display the package options on the product in the French language, you’ll need to define the package names in French when creating or editing the CCM Profile of Elevate Solo, via CCM => Profile Builder => Universal Pulse Profile.

Switch Display Languages

When multiple languages are configured, you can switch between the languages.
