Define Settings on Market Server
To utilize Moneris as the payment processor, you need to add Moneris to the reader gateway on the vendor level.
Access Payment Gateway Settings: Log in and navigate to the Vendor Portal. Click on Settings > Payment Gateway. Find the "Payment Gateway - Reader" section.
Select Moneris:
Use the drop-down menu titled “Default Payment Gateway” to select “Moneris.”
Alternatively, click the “Add Another Gateway” button if you wish to add more options.
Enter Required Information: Once “Moneris” is selected, relevant fields will appear. Fill in these fields with the necessary details.
Save Changes: After entering the information, click the green “Save Changes” button to apply your configuration.
Creating Location & Room
If Moneris is set as the first option in the vendor-level Settings, any new/existing location will automatically use Moneris as the payment gateway by default. However, you can still customize the payment gateway for each location if needed.
To do this, navigate to Location Management > Create/Edit Location > Payment Gateway. By default, the location will follow the vendor-level settings, with the radio button selected on Vendor Default Settings for Payment Gateway Preference. All parameters will be uneditable as they are imported from the vendor settings.
If you select “Set Custom Gateway for This Location,” all parameters will be editable so you can customize it for this specific location. The drop-down of Payment Gateway only shows those configured on the Settings > Payment Gateway - Reader section.
Creating CCM Profiles
If Moneris is selected as the payment processor, it's necessary to define the Device ID when creating CCM profiles. You can find this parameter in the "Data and Processing" section of the Universal Pulse profile or in the CleanReader Ultra Data section for serial profiles, depending on the profile type you are creating.

With these configurations performed, you can proceed to set up the reader using KLM.
