Document Overview

This guide provides instructions on the secondary installation of Gen 1 VC Touch 21, including Bill Acceptor Mounting, VXT Mounting, Modem and Antenna Mounting. It is hoped with this document you can grasp how to install VC Touch 21.

Bill Acceptor Mounting

  1. Remove the M5 flange nut with a nut driver, then remove the Bill Acceptor Shield.

  1. Disassemble the Bill acceptor bracket from the kiosk by loosening the five M5 flange nuts circled in the picture.

  1. Lift the blue button to disassemble the Bill case from the Bill Acceptor.

  1. Install the Bill Acceptor main body on the bracket by tightening four M4*16 screws, there are eight M4*16 screws in total.

Note that the bill accepting slot aligns with the rectangle hole on the bill acceptor bracket.

  1. Reinstall the bill acceptor bracket on the kiosk, by tightening five M5 flange nuts, as shown in the picture above.

  1. Install the Bill Case on the Bill Acceptor Main Body.

  1. Mount the Bill Acceptor Shield on the two screws, and fix it with a M5 flange nut.

Note: Please take out the Bill Acceptor power cables and data cables from the U-type hole of the Bill Acceptor Shield.

  1. Connect the left Bill Acceptor data cable to the Bill Acceptor Board, and the right Bill Acceptor data cable to the Serial Expander Board.

  1. Connect the Bill Acceptor power cables like this.

VXT Mounting

  1. Install the VXT bracket on the Kiosk and fix it with four M5 flange nuts.

  1. Mount VXT on the bracket.

  1. Fix the VXT with two nuts.

  1. Connect the VXT data cable to WH010013.

Insert the network cable from the Exchange Board.

Modem and Antenna Mounting

  1. Mount the router fixed bracket on the Modem like the picture.

Pay attention to where M2.5*6 screws are installed.

  1. Unscrew the nuts from the antenna like this.

  1. Uninstall one of the antenna boards from the upper right corner of the kiosk.

  1. Let the antenna cables go through the hole of the kiosk like this. Then fix the antenna by tightening the unscrewed nuts.

  1. Connect the Antenna to the modem by Wi-Fi cable and 4G cable.

Insert the 9V Power Adaptor connector, and the network cable into the LAN port.

  1. Mount the modem on the upper right corner of the kiosk, and fix it with two M5 flange nuts.
