How to create a Quantum Top Load Washer Profile

The Quantum machine control has a green LED display, a jumper at the H6 connection on the control board and typically has five or more temperature buttons along with a start button.

Reminder

When the jumper is installed, the machine is set to CARD mode, enabling serial communication with a card reader system. KioSoft includes the part number WH100005 in its package kits to set the laundry machine to serial mode.

Site Data

1) Click on 'Site Data' and enter location information.

  • Site Code and Location ID must match the location in Location Management on Laundry Portal

  • For Location ID and Room#, you should enter the ones that you created previously

  1. Location ID

  2. Site Code

  3. Room Number

    • Each room will get its own profile.

  4. Non-Network

    • This should be enabled any time a modem is not present in the room.

  5. Card Holder

  6. Hide Label

    • This will hide the machine number on Connect and Elevate readers

2) Next for Payment Options, select the payment methods for the target location.

Reminder

Fill out the 'Site data' portion before filling out the 'Machine Data' information. If you fail to set the site data, your profile will not save to your target location.

Machine Data

1)  After filling out the 'Site Data' tab with the information for your test location, select the 'Machine tab' → 'Alliance' → 'Quantum' → 'Top Load Washer'.

2) Click on the 'Advanced Options' button to view all machine parameters:

3) Start by entering the pricing parameters. Fields Vend1 through Vend9 are in Cents, where 100 = $1.00.

4) Update the Heavy Cycle modifier.

Save Profile

1) Save your profile by selecting the drop-down option at the top left of the profile builder and choose the 'Save Profile' option.

2) Then, enter the custom text and click on the 'Save' button.
