Document Overview
This document will provide you with detailed descriptions of the fields displayed in Edge Box Room View for a location equipped with Edge Box. In Room View, a new Header called On-Premise Server is created. Under this header, a subsection labeled “Edge” is displayed, which provides detailed information related to the Edge Box installed at the location. It includes Model #, OS Version, FW Version. IP Address, MAC Address, etc.
Edge Box Room View
When entering the Room View of the location that is equipped with Edge Box, you’ll see the information under On-Premise Server. You can refer to the table below for detailed information.

Machine # | Numeric | It refers to the machine number configured in “IniConfigure” when setting up the Edge Box for the first time. |
FW Version | Numeric | It is the firmware version number of Edge Box. |
CPU Usage | Percentage | It refers to the utilization rate of the central processing unit, indicating the processor's workload intensity. |
Unavailable Time | Numeric | It refers to the time when the machine became unavailable. |
OS Version | Alpha-numeric | It is the OS version of Edge Box. |
IP Address | Numeric | It is the IP Address of Edge Box. |
Memory Usage | Numeric | It refers to the percentage of RAM (Random Access Memory) of the Edge Box actively allocated to running processes. |
Unavailable Duration | Numeric | It refers to the time duration when Edge Box becomes unavailable. |
MAC Address | Alpha-numeric | It is the MAC address of Edge Box. |
Disk Usage | Numeric | It refers to the percentage of total storage capacity currently occupied by data on a drive. |
ULID | Alpha-numeric | It is a unique identifier of Edge Box. It is automatically generated by the back-end. |
Reboot Time | Numeric | It indicates the last time Edge Box was rebooted. |
Color Symbol | / | A status symbol is displayed within the On-Premise Server header to indicate the current operational state of the Edge Box. The symbol reflects the following conditions: Grey Symbol: The Linux Box is disabled at the location level. Red Symbol: No heartbeat detected from the Linux Box for 24 hours. Orange Symbol: No heartbeat detected for 2 hours. Yellow Symbol: No heartbeat detected for 30 minutes. Green Symbol: The Linux Box is enabled at the location level and is actively communicating with the kiosk. |
