Common payment methods
Whether to enable YSPAY: it is not available for now.
Cash payment: must be enabled when bank card, bill and coin are equipped in machine.
Select cash payment -- this parameter is default as “Drive5In” in some model, please contact KioSoft tech support before modification.
Set serial ports -- this parameter is defaulting as “/dev/ttyS4” in some model, please contact KioSoft tech support before modification.
Close the purchase confirmation pop-up window: when enabled, there will not be any pop-up window for purchase confirmation.
Coin: unfold it to see complete parameters under it, includes:
Support coin (bill) denomination -- no need to configure, won’t impact machine operation no matter set up or not. In some cases, when coin changer is equipped in machine, click empty area between the parameter and “>” button, further parameters will prompt and allow user to set denomination allowed.
Open change -- need to enable when coin changer is equipped in machine.
Paper currency: unfold it to see complete parameters under it, includes:
Support bill denomination -- similar function as “Support coin denomination” mentioned above.
Support denomination of refund -- similar function as “Support coin denomination” mentioned above, parameter will be available when the bill acceptor has ability of giving changes.
One-click empty banknote change box -- match work with “Support denomination of refund”.
Single maximum cumulative coin amount switch: the maximum cash amount that user can insert in a single purchase. When enabled, a further parameter “Maximum credit$” will show and allow to change the value, default value is 20. This feature can prevent customer using large denomination note (eg. $100) to buy small value (eg. $1) product and get lots of changes.
Manual change: when enabled, user must press “Change” button on machine to get changes if there are.
No vend (consumption), no refund: when enabled, user has to use the bill(s) or coin(s) inserted for product purchase, cannot get equivalent coins back without any payment.
Display change available: when enabled, the amount of change available will be displayed at the middle right side on shopping page.
Bill escrow (Temporary banknotes): when enabled, and customer insert bill prior to select product in machine, bill(s) inserted will be temporarily store by machine, meanwhile inserted amount will be displayed in “Balance” on shopping page. If customer doesn’t want to purchase, he/she can press “Change” button on machine to get the bill(s) inserted.
Reminder of insufficient change balance: when enabled, a further parameter “Warning value when change balance is insufficient” will show and allow to configure detailed value, default value is 0. The reminder will be displayed at the same position of “Display change available” mentioned above. Not recommend to enable this feature because in some cases coin changer may have its reserved coin(s) in tube and not able to use for changes.
Prohibit accepting paper currency when the remaining balance is insufficient: when enabled, the machine will reject paper currency when no coins remain in the machine.
Coin pre storage: In some cases when coin changer is equipped in machine, and the has ability of giving changes, you can use this feature to preload coin changes in acceptor/changer.
Bill return capacity (Changeable balance capacity): the acceptable quantity of “Bill escrow” mentioned above, the cumulative quantity beyond set value, the bill(s) will enter cashbox of bill acceptor directly.
Coin swallowing after a long time without transaction: when enabling this function, the coin will be swallowed after a long time without transaction.
Whether to choose payment methods first then pay: when enabling this function, customers have to choose whether to pay in cash or credit card. Usually, it should be kept disabled.
Whether balance displayed on the purchase interface?: when enabling this function, the amount inserted into the machine will be displayed on the screen.
Automatic refund for shipment failure: when enabling this function, a failed shipment will trigger an automatic refund.
Other Payment Methods
This section is reserved for other payment methods those are commonly used in Asia market. Not needed in North American market for now.
Age Verify
This section is reserved for some special scenarios, such as cigarette vending machine. Not available for now.
