Working in conjunction with all currently supported modems, the Remote Power Cycle Module (RPCM) 120V is designed to automate the process of establishing and maintaining stable Wi-Fi connections. It attempts to connect to the network using predefined settings, check the modem’s reboot status if connection fails, performs power cycles if necessary, and logs actions taken. Additionally, it retrieves the modem’s serial number upon successful connection and conducts network status checks according to rules set in the NMS, repeating these steps as needed to ensure reliable connectivity. Under the prerequisite that the Room where the RPCM is used is online and the modem used with the washer is operational, as well as under the control of the paired modem, RPCM can interrupt the power to the washer for a minimum of 20 seconds to allow for a complete power down. | |

LED Light | 1) The power light (green) will stay on for RPCM supporting readers. 2) The Bluetooth light (blue) will be stay on when RPCM is in work mode, such as NMS/TMS setup, network test, Bluetooth connection, etc. 3) The Bluetooth light will be off when RPCM is in idle mode. 4) The Bluetooth light will be flickering (once per second) if the Wi-Fi is not connected. |
The 3-phase power or non-US style outlets are not supported for the initial product rollout.
RPCM will power cycle the modem under the following 5 prerequisites (and/or logic depending upon the dev’s configuration):
(1) invalid personal identification number, (2) unavailable Wi-Fi connection, (3) weak Wi-Fi signal, (4) weak 4G signal, (5) unavailable local box communication.
