This article introduces the procedures of removing dust from internal parts of RCC ice maker (FN400IM).

Frequency: Once a year

2. Cleaning Procedures

Step1 Empty the ice bucket.

Push the ice outlet push rod (or press - and * at the same time) with a cup to empty all ice cubes stored inside the machine.

Note: Do not stop until no ice cube comes out.

Step2 Disassemble accessories.

1. Power off the circuit breaker at front panel when the ice has been emptied.

2. Plug out the power cable.

3. Turn off water switch and plug out water inlet tube.

4. Disassemble the drain tube at bottom.

Step3 Disassemble the upper cover panel.

Remove the upper cover panel of ice maker by screwing off the two screws marked.

Step4 Disassemble the left & right panel.

Remove the left & right side panel by screwing off the screws marked: One at top, three at back, three at lower part of the machine.

Note: The left & right side panel can be removed in the same way.

Step5 Disassemble the dust screen.

Remove the dust screen at back, left, and right panel.

Step6 Clean the dust screen.

1. Scrub clean the dust screen in clean water.

2. Dry the net by wiping it with a dry towel or using an air gun.

3. Wait for the net to become thoroughly dry.

4. Install back the net to its original position.

Step7 Clean the condenser.

Blow the condenser with an air gun from the bottom until no dust remains.

Step8 Wipe clean the interior.

Wipe clean the ice bucket lid, motor, compressor, as well as other parts with a dry towel.

Step9 Assembly complete.

Assemble back all parts removed to their original positions when the maintenance work is completed.
