Room View
1. Machine Details
Please follow the steps below to view machine details.
1. Log in to the Washboard Vendor Portal and click Location Management. |
2. Select the location you want to view. |
3. Click the Rooms button. |
4. Select the room you want to view. |
5. The details of the kiosks in the Room will be displayed in the Room View. |
2. Log Uploading Control
In the case that the bug analysis is difficult to perform due to the lack of logs, the log uploading function is developed to record and upload the details of Kiosk Logs.
2.1 Remote Log Uploading
In the Room view for Kiosks, you can enable/disable the Logs button.
If you enable the Login the Room Vs button, VC Touch will upload logs to the TMS Server at the time configured in the CCM profile.
If you disable the Logs button, VC Touch will upload the local logs to the TMS server immediately, then always record and locally save the latest three days of logs.
2.2 Manual Log Uploading
You can also enable the log uploading button on local AVU Kiosks, please refer to the following steps.
1. Tap the KIOSOFT sign five times consecutively to enter admin page. | 2. Tap SCOREBOARD sign five times consecutively to enable/disable the Log Uploading button. |

3. Remote Profile Upgrade
With regards to the steps to perform Profile Upgrade on Kiosks, please refer to Section “Profile Upgrade“.
Besides, you can also perform a Remote Profile Upgrade in Room View on Washboard.
1. Click Update Profile on the top left corner of the Room View page. |
2. Select Profile from the drop-down list then click the Submit Kiosk Update button, the kiosk will perform a profile update immediately if the tablet is in idle screen. If the tablet is not on the idle screen, one minute after it turns back to the idle screen, the kiosk will perform a profile update. |
3. If you select Edit Current Profile, you will be directed to CCM to modify the information of the current profile. |
4. Remote Reboot
To save the costs and time for dispatching a technician to the site for necessary operations, operators can send a “Remote Reboot” command to the Kiosk on Room View. The detailed steps are as below.
1. Click “Remote Command” on the top left corner of the Room View page. |
2. Select “Reboot Kiosk” from the drop-down list of “Actions,” then click the “Submit” button to send out the command. If both the kiosk and the VXT are on the idle screen, the kiosk will reboot after receiving the command. |
