Safety & Running Precautions

You should install a suitable automatic voltage regulator not less than 500w.

The sockets of the freezer should be connected to stable fixed connection.

Under no circumstance should the wiring be connected to such facilities as water pipe, gas pipe and so on.

Once power is cut off ,wait for at least 5 min before plugging in again to avoid damaging the compressor or system.

Do not put combustible, explosive or volatile dangerous articles, heavily corrosive acid or alkali of liquid in glassware into the freezer.

Children should be kept away from the freezer to avoid damage to the inner container or any accidents and injuries.

If the power cable is damaged, to avoid any danger, it should be repaired/replaced by a qualified service technician.

Trial running is necessary: Plug in and wait. The marked drop in temperature within half an hour indicates that the freezer works properly.

Cleaning Procedures

Power

Turn off the power, unplug the appliance, and remove all items, including shelves.

Failure to unplug the appliance during cleaning could result in electrical shock or other personal injury.

Inner surfaces

Wash the inner surfaces with a solution of warm water and baking soda (about 2 table spoons of baking soda to a quart of water).

Shelves

Wash the shelves with a mild detergent solution.

Outer cabinet

Wash the outside cabinet with warm water and mild liquid detergent.

Rinse well and wipe dry with a clean soft cloth.

Wring excess water out of the sponge or cloth when cleaning the area where the controls are located, or any electrical parts.

Power Failure

  • Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect the temperature of your appliance if you minimize the number of times the door is opened.

  • If the power is going to be off for a longer period of time, you need to take proper steps to protect the contents.

Operation in Vacations

  • Short vacations: Leave the appliance operating during vacations of less than 3 weeks.

  • Long vacations: If the appliance will not be used for several months, remove all items and turn off the appliance.

  • Clean and dry the interior thoroughly. To prevent odour and mold growth, leave the door open slightly, blocking it open if necessary.

Move the Appliance

  • Remove all items.

  • Securely tape down all loose items (shelves) inside your appliance.

  • Turn the adjustable legs up to the base to avoid damage.

  • Tape the door shut.

  • Be sure the appliance stays secure in the upright position during transportation. Also, protect the outside of the appliance with a blanket or similar item.
