In this article, we will introduce how to start the machine with bank cards and the multiple languages the product supports.

Starting the Machine

The reader supports card payments including chipping, swiping and tapping the card.

Smart Chip Card Insert the chip card into the terminal as shown by the arrow on the slot with its contact surface (chip) facing up. Do not remove the chip card during the transaction.

Magnetic Stripe Card Swipe the magnetic card along the slot with its band facing to terminal. Keep the swiping speed uniform. It is allowed to swipe the magnetic card from top to bottom or from bottom to top.

Contactless Card Bring the card firmly up to the RFID reader, keep the card close to the reader during the transaction.

The specific steps to start a machine may vary depending on the laundry machine but the general steps are similar. The following procedure is demonstrated on an Alliance ACA FLW machine and paid with a chip card.

  1. Select desired cycle on the machine then make payment, as suggested by the reader UI.

  1. Remove the chip card as directed by the reader's UI. You'll also hear a continuous beep sound, which serves as an alert for this action.

  1. Press the Start button on the machine as directed by the reader UI. You'll also hear a continuous beep sound, which serves as an alert for this action.

  1. You will see the machine is started and the reader UI will display “Machine in Use.”

Multiple Languages

The reader supports multiple languages, including English, Romanian, French, and Spanish. Users can tap the language icon in the middle of the reader’s top bar to switch the language display.
