Setup Ultra VXT

1. Use KLM to update firmware

Click the sandwich button at the top left corner and select “Service” for more operations.	Select "Update Reader".	Select "TMS Update".

For “TMS Update”. Click the button bordered in blue “Enter Reference”.	Select the mode of Update and click “OK” on the pop-up window.	Enter Reference Number you want to download on the reader.

2. Setup Profile in CCM

Log into CCM and click on “Profile Builder” menu.

Click on Site Data tab.

For location ID and Room #, you should enter the ones that you have already created. Remember to click the corresponding payment options.

You may refer to table 2-1 for descriptions of the fields.

Payment Options	Check Box	Select the payment options to be applied. KioSoft Mobile App, KioSoft Laundry Card, Credit Card/Debit Card, Coin, and Cloud-based Card are supported at the present stage. For Ultra VXT readers, Credit Card/Debit Card and Could-based Card are supported at present.
CR/DR Card Type	Check Box	Select the card type to be applied. This field is required when “Credit Card/Debit Card” is selected as the “Payment Options”.
Converter Reader Type	Check Box	Disable by default.

Click on Machine Data > Kisoft > Ultra API in sequence. And click the Advanced Options to display all the fields. You can refer to table 2-2 for descriptions of all the fields.

Screen Title	Text	The title “WELCOME” will appear when the reader is on the idle mode.
Sub Screen Title first Line	Text	The title will appear in the first line when the credit/debit card is used to pay. As for Ultra VXT readers, it should be displayed as “MAKE PAYMENT1”.
Sub Screen Title second Line	Text	The title will appear in the second line when the credit/debit card is used to pay. As for Ultra VXT readers, it should be displayed as “MAKE PAYMENT2”.

After the parameters are configured, click on the dropdown menu of “Profile” and then select “Save Profile”. You will see two text boxes to be filled in. Custom text is a searchable field for the profile whose description is to make relevant notes.

Note: It is best practice to use a standard naming convention in the custom text field to help you quickly find the correct profile. If multiple users are making profiles, ensure that the naming convention is decided before profiles are saved.

Save the profile by clicking on “Save” and a message will be displayed indicating the profile has been saved successfully.

3. Setup Ultra Data in CCM

Note: If you are to use the Ultra readers, you need to additionally create Ultra data.

Click on CleanReader Ultra Data in the navigation. Click “Add” to set up a new CleanReader Ultra Data or input some key words in the search box to select an existing one to edit. You can refer to table 1-3 for the description of all the fields.

Customtext	Alpha-Numeric	This parameter specifies the person that creates the Ultra data. You could customize it to facilitate an easy search.
Washboard Address	Alpha-Numeric	The URL of the Report Server.
Ultra Transaction Type	Dropdown list	Pre-Authorization: Require the bank to lock up the Pre-Authorization Amount for one day, during which transactions are deducted directly from the amount locked up. Single Authorization: A separate fee is deducted for each transaction.
HCS POS	Numeric	The POS ID for transaction.
HCS Auth Code	Alpha-Numeric	The Auth Code for POS ID.
HCS Auth Factor	Numeric	The Zip Code of the vendor.
Pre-Authorization Amount	Numeric	The amount of the Pre-Authorization type of transaction.
Reboot Time	Dropdown choice	Choose a time for the daily reboot of readers.
Washboard Upload Port	Numeric	The port of the Report Server.
Washboard Upload Time	Dropdown choice	The settlement time of the reader.
Ultra Work Mode	Dropdown choice (Master, Backup, Normal, Retail)	Please select “Retail” for Ultra VXT readers.
Ultra Coin Support	Dropdown choice (ON / OFF)	If the reader supports payment by coin, choose ON. If not, choose OFF.
Ultra Coin Timeout	Numeric	This parameter means the valid time after inserting coin, from 1-9. The unit is minute.
Ultra Offline Mode	Dropdown choice (ON / OFF)	If you choose ON, the reader will still work after it is offline.
Offline Washer Use	Numeric	The maximal times a card can be used on the washer in offline mode, from 0-9.
Offline Dryer Use	Numeric	The maximal times a card can be used on the dryer in offline mode, from 0-9.
Max Card Use Offline	Numeric	The maximal times a card can be used in this room, from 0-9.
WIFI SSID	Alpha-Numeric	The WIFI SSID of the router. It must be totally the same as the WLAN WIFI SSID in router’s setup.
Label ID	Numeric	Should be the same as the Label ID while doing the KLM setup.

4. Use KLM to load profile and Ultra Data

Open the KLM app on your phone and click “Enter SRC”.	Enter the SRC that you have created.	Sign in with your account.

Click “Setup”.	Click “Proceed Setup with”.	Click the room you’d like to select under your selected location.

Click “Setup New Reader”.	Select “Ultra Series”.	Select the profile that is created. You can enter several characters to narrow your search.

Select the Ultra Data.	Enter the Machine number and Machine ID and click NEXT.	Click “Scan QR Code” and scan the QR code of Ultra VXT.

Configure Android Settings

1. How to get to Android OS settings

At any page, swipe down from the top left corner of the page, then continuously tap the corner at a very fast pace.	After entering this page,swipe up from the bottom.

Click Setting to get to Android OS settings.

2. Enable/Disable Navigation Bar

Click the "Settings" button.	Select the "Display" option.

Tap "Advance".	Enable/Disable the button at the end of "Navigation bar and drop-down bar". When the button is enabled, it will be green.

3. Configure Network (Wifi, Ethernet)

Click "Settings" button.	Select "Network & internet" option.

Enable the button at the end of WiFi option. Click WiFi to select your desired net.	If you would like to use the Ethenet, just inset the Network Cable.

4. Disable Automatic Time Zone

Click the "Settings" button.	Select the "System" option.

Tap "Date &Time" option.	Disable "Automatic Time Zone". When the button is disabled, it is grey.

Install KioSoft POS App

Tap "Explore".	Select "Internal Memory".

Select the app version that you'd like to install.	Click the "Install" button at the bottom right of the screen.

Allow various permissions to KioSoft POS app.	Allow to display KioSoft POS app over other apps.

After the app is installed successfully, it will automatically open and the tablet will enter the Initialization page.

Configure KioSoft POS App

1. Enter the operator SRC code that has been registered in the Backoffice. Click “Search” to search the store and location information.	2. Select room and machine group from the drop-down lists.

3. Enter machine name and check if the machine name is available.	4. Click OK button after verification success.

5. Input machine description, URL and WebUrl.	6. Toggle to enable the devices.

7. Click "Printer Test", "Reader Test", "Scale Test" in turn to test if the devices work.	8. If printer works, it will print a receipt. If printer doesn't work, there will be a pop-up reminder info.

9. If reader doesn't work, it will remind you "Reader Initialization Fail". If reader works, it will remind you "Reader Initialization Success".

10. Scale Test (None) means that the scale is disconnected. Scale Test (BT) means that the scale is connected via Bluetooth. Scale Test (Port) means that the scale is connected via serial port.

11. Click Save to finish the initialization configuration.

1. Ultra VXT Key Injection (Optional)

The Key Injection is optional because it is only required for Cloud Card Top Up and Cloud Card Purchase function. If you do not need these two functions, then there is no need to inject key.

Tap Key Injection button.	Tap Key Cards on terminal for Key Injection.

Follow the guidance to tap D62 card on the terminal (Ultra VXT reader), then F62 card.	Tap Done to return to the start of Key Injection.

Tap Clear Keys, if you want to clear the wrong key and inject new keys again.	After clearing keys, you can reinject the keys again.
