Section 3 Physical Connection With/Without Gameboard Version 2
There are three scenarios of physical connection. You should follow one of the wiring instructions below based on actual deployment needs:
Simplified Gameboard Harness (hardware improvement)
Gameboard V2 Connection with Elevate Touch
No Gameboard V2 Required
Simplified Harness
To simplify the process for amusement installs, only payment or one cash source (bill/coin) and ticket emulation are required for installation. The connections for the motor, notch, bill acceptor, and coin acceptor are now integrated into the reader (with a 20-pin I/O interface). The Gameboard is no longer involved when it comes to physical deployment. Currently, the coin/bill input functionality is not active with the standard cables. For now, the cables are output-only for credit communication.
Step 1: Remove the Y cable from Elevate Touch

Step 2: Connect the cable needed to the Elevate Touch and the ticket emulator or machine

Connect Elevate Touch with Gameboard V2
If Gameboard has already been installed and is an existing kit for the amusement business, you may refer to the instructions below for the physical deployment.
To connect Elevate Touch with the machine and Gameboard Version 2, you can follow the steps below:
Step 1. Connect the Elevate Touch to the Gameboard Version 2 by using the cable (WH710066).
Step 2. Connect the Gameboard Version 2 to the power supply.
Step 3. Connect the Gameboard Version 2 to the Game Machine.
Gameboard Version 2 Connection with Power Supply and Game Machine
For the Gameboard Version 2’s connection with the power supply and game machine, please refer to the Gameboard Version2 Installation Guide for detailed wiring instructions.

For detailed instructions on the physical connection between Gameboard and multiple devices, please navigate to the Gameboard Version2 Installation Guide.
No Gameboard Required
If the Gameboard is not required to support Elevate Touch, you can follow the steps and wiring as below:
When you receive an Elevate Touch product, you will find two cables extending from the reader module. The cables are integrated with the reader, eliminating the need of additional purchases.
Cable 1: Male Cable (features contact conductors with protruding pins) for log checking (used by the technician to retrieve logs for field deployment).
Cable 2: Female Cable (features contact conductors with recessed holes) for Game machine connection.
Step 1. Connect the Male cable for log checking (if it is needed by the technician for field deployment work).
Step 2. Connect the Female cable to the Game machine.
