How to Create a Universal Pulse Profile for Small Chassis Maytag

Note:

We recommend using a serial profile for MAT20 or MHN33 but alternative option is the Universal Pulse profile.

The Universal Pulse profile will pulse the laundry machine, simulating coin. Pulse cable on the back of the reader is required, along with the reader's jumper moved to A side.

1) Log into KioCentral and click on CCM (Cloud Configuration Manager).

2) Now, in the Profile Builder, Select Universal then Universal Pulse

3) Moving forward, you will be clicking on each tab starting with Location and providing the information for the configuration. This information must match the data previously entered in your vendors portal Location Management

4) In the Machine Profile tab, change the following.

Machine Type: Washer

Reader Mode: Value

Pocket Configuration: Single

5) The Audio Visual tab can be left as default.

In the Products, Pricing and Timing tab, enter desired pricing and Run Time as 35 mins

  • NOTE: Time & Price must be set on the machine board as well. There are three different methods to get pricing: Basic, Incremental, and Multi Pricing. Fill out one tab and then click on the Pulse tab.

6) Once completed, under the Pulse tab enter the following pulse setting for a Maytag Small Chassis (MAT20/MHN33)machine.

  • Output Type: Coin Pulse

  • Pulse Polarity: Idle Closed

  • Output Pulse Gap: 100ms

  • Output Pulse Duration: 50ms

7) Proceed to fill out the following tabs as needed in the Data Processing tab.

  • For Surface readers (Prime, Connect, Solo using mobile app and/or laundry card):

    • Leave the Data Processing tab as Default.

  • Only for Ultra Readers (Credit Card):

    • Payment Gateway Option: (from VAR sheet provided)

    • POS ID: (from VAR sheet provided)

    • Aut Code: (from VAR sheet provided)

    • Auth Factor: (from VAR sheet provided)

    • Work Mode: Retail (unless otherwise specified)

    • WiFi SSID: techtrex (unless otherwise specified)

8) In the Payment Types and Methods tab, enter the desired payment options and change "SiteCodeCheck” to Enable.

9) Use the drop down to change ‘Profile” to “Save Profile”. Then enter the CustomText and click on the SAVE button.
