Server Setup

3.2.1 Create Vendor Company

First, as a server owner admin or distributor admin, you can go to Universal Server => Company Management => Create Company to create a vendor company. The newly created company will be laid out in the list with a Login button via which you can log in to your vendor portal for further deployment from location, room, staff, CCM, etc., perspectives.

3.2.2 Create Location and Room

Please navigate to Location Management of Vendor Portal to create the location and room where the product will be deployed. For improved management, you can also create the Branch and Cluster to which this product will belong.

3.2.3 Create Staff

Please navigate to Vendor Portal => User Management => Staff to create the staff accounts that will assist in managing the products.

3.2.4 Create CCM Profile

In CCM Profile Builder, you can build up/edit a profile that contains machine-related and site-related data for the reader to communicate with the machines.

Site Data

Click “Site Data” and then all fields to configure will be displayed. Please define the fields one by one, and you can refer to Table 3-1 below for descriptions of the fields. 

The Location ID and Site Code defined herein should be the same as the Location ID and Site Code that you created on the Vendor Portal.

Machine Data

Elevate Card Select now supports multiple machines. We’ll take the Fagor machine as an example to demonstrate how to configure the machine data.

Click the tab Machine Data->Domus/Fagor ->Extractor, and select the machine type. Then enter the vend price #1, #2, #3, etc., or you can click on “Add Price” to add vend price in accordance with the cycle value of the machine.

Note: It is crucial to ensure that when you use KLM to set up the reader, the Label ID you define in KLM complies with the ID Number configured on the machine. If you're unsure about how to configure the ID Number, please refer to the configuration guide provided by the machine manufacturer.

This is used for Self Setup Test. When a certain test item fails, a beep sound will occur.

Coin Value

Defines the coin value accepted by the machine. Unit is cent. Default value is 0.

Vend Price 1/2/3/4/…/16

Numeric

Defines the vend price for the cycles configured on the washer. Default value 0. Value range is 0-6553500. Unit is Cent.

Please configure vend price for each cycle enabled on the washer. You can click the Add Price button to add up to 16 price options. If you didn’t configure all prices for the cycles enabled on the washer, those without configurations will be served free of charge to the customers.

Wascomat Machine: New Layout and More Price Options

To cater to customer’s needs from Wascomat/LaundryLux washer (Compass 720 Series & 620 Series), more price options can be added when operator users create the machine’s profile in CCM. The names of the value mode will be changed correspondingly.

1) Value mode name modification: Cold - Price 1, Warm - Price 2, Hot - Price 3, Quick Wash - Price 4, Delicate - Price 5

2) Add more price options in machine’s profile: Operators can go to Machine Data → Wascomat → Compass and select 720 Series or 620 Series to configure the parameters for the machine. Click on the “Add Price” button at the upper right corner to add more prices based on the actual business needs. Click on the red fork sign to remove the price options.

Please see the screenshot below to check the new layout and the addition of the price options.

Support Free Vend for Maytag Machine

Free Vend is supported for Maytag machines. Log in vendor portal and navigate to CCM. Click on Machine Data → Maytag → Free. Fill in the fields as described.

  • Free Vend: A drop-down option. Enable it to activate the free vend functionality.

  • Machine Type: A drop-down option. Select single or stack based on the machine’s type.

In addition, you can find three fields (Error Beep for SSUT, Coin Value, Vend Discounts) above available for extra configuration. You can leave them as the default settings as the previous profile did.


Set up via KLM

After creating the profile on the Server, you need to inject the profile into the reader via KLM. Please follow the steps below to set up the reader.

  1. Open KLM and log in to the location that you set on the Server; select the “Setup” option on the Homepage.

  1. Tap the button marked in the red box.

  1. Select “Room” and tap the “Setup New Reader” button.

  1. Select “Other Reader Series.”

  1. Select the CCM machine profile that you created on the Server, which is searchable by inputting the profile name.

  1. Input the Machine Number and Machine ID., then click “Next.”

Note: Please make sure the Machine Number matches the number on the machine.

  1. Scan the QR code of the reader, or enter the machine number to proceed with the profile injection.

Note: Scan QR code should be recommended as the machine number may change as needed going forward.

  1. Click the “OK” button to confirm the profile and the machine info.

  1. Wait for the successful profile injection. The KLM App will display like below.
