Check Room Status

You can check the available machines in a room before going to the washroom to avoid peak time.

1. Tap the “Sandwich” menu at the top left corner of the Homepage to display the navigation bar.

2. Select the “Room Status” option, and the machine status will be displayed.

3. You can tap the triangle icon to visit other rooms.

4. Swipe down the room list displayed, then select the room desired and tap “OK” to enter the room.

5. The machine status in the selected room will be displayed, and you can swipe down to view more machines.

In the “Room Status” section, machines marked in green as “Available” are ready for use, while those currently in operation will display the remaining time.

To receive a notification when a machine becomes available, click the “Bell” button located at the upper right corner of a working machine. When the Machine Alert prompt appears, click “Confirm.” The bell button will turn red, indicating that you'll be alerted once the machine is free.

6. When the last cycle is nearing completion, you will receive a notification five minutes before it ends. This alert will also include details about the room name and machine number once the cycle finishes.

On certain Android smartphones, if the device remains inactive for an extended period, the local timer may stop counting down, which can result in the cycle-ending notification not being sent.

To resolve this issue, you can remove the Android restriction on the app background activity by following two methods.

  1. Press and hold the LAVA PAY app, then go to the “Use Details” and allow the background activity.

  2. Go to the Smartphone Settings->Battery->Select one of the top two options.

    The “Unrestricted” option might cause continuous battery consumption, while the “Optimized” option allows the app to be active in the background longer.
