1. Bill Acceptor Cleaning
A mild solution of detergent can be used for cleaning the belts, bill path and sensor lenses, as well as for general cleaning of the bill acceptor. Beverages or other water-soluble liquids which have been spilled on or into the bill acceptor can usually be removed with warm soapy water. External surfaces can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Note
Petroleum-based cleaners and freon-based propellants can damage plastic and some electronic components. Scouring pads and stiff brushes may harm circuit boards and can mar the plastic. These items should never be used to clean the bill acceptor
Cleaning the Vantage
The Vantage should be cleaned every 20,000 bills or every two years (or as needed, depending on the environmental conditions of the location).
Dust can be removed with a soft brush or cloth or it can be blown out using compressed air.
2. Coin Hopper Cleaning
The Coin Hopper should be cleaned every 450,000 coins (or as needed, depending on the environmental conditions of the location).

3. Remove the Cleaning Required Error
When the Cleaning Required error for Coin Hopper/Bill Acceptor is received, the technician or customer service employee should follow the recommended periodic maintenance above and perform the steps below to remove the error.
The Event Report will have a clear button if the Bill Acceptor receives bills 20,000 times or the Coin Hopper loads coins 450,000, and the content before the error clear is red. | |

After the Bill Acceptor maintenance or Coin Hopper maintenance, click the Confirm button to proceed with the error clear. | After confirming to clear the error on the app, the content will become black color, the clear button will change to a status box “error cleared-date”, and the error reminder on the main screen will be removed. |
