Installation Procedure
Step 1: Find the Installation Position
Open the door and slide out the control cabinet; you will find the reader mounting position shown in the picture:
Step 2: Remove the Cover Plate
Use the socket screwdriver to remove the four flange nuts securing the cover plate, then take off the cover plate.
Step 3: Find the Reader Mounting Plate
If the TSD 36 Vending machine is newly unpacked, the mounting plate should be included in the kit bag that comes with the machine.
Step 4: Install the Mounting Plate
Align the holes at the four corners of the mounting plate with the four screw stems at the mounting location. Ensure the slanted corner is positioned at the top right, as shown in the picture.
Step 5: Install the Ultra VQ-M
Attach the reader from the outside of the mounting hole, aligning the screw holes at its four corners with those on the mounting plate.
Step 6: Secure the Screws
Use M4*12 screws to secure the reader on the mounting plate.
Step 7: Wiring
Connect one male end of the MDB splitter harness to the MDB interface of the VQ-M, and attach the other male end to the reserved female MDB port on the machine.
