The VC Cash Kiosk includes a VXT card reader, a card dispenser, a bill acceptor, and a modem (optional). All of these components require both power and data connections to function correctly.

Wiring
Connect the VXT's data cable (black mesh cable) to the Ultra VXT power cable (WH210016).

Connect the WH210016 cable to the power port and one of the outlets on the dual-head 24V adapter.

Connect the VXT reader’s green and blue data cable (WH110051) to the COM port on the VXT reader.

Connect the other end of the WH110051 cable to the serial expander board.

The serial expander (AS110009) requires power to operate properly, considering that receives data from the card dispenser and the bill acceptor. It requires 9 Volts power.

Warning
Do not connect the card dispenser’s power connector into the serial expander because the dispenser requires 24 Volts of power and this will damage the serial expander.
The card dispenser’s power cables (PS110001) must be aligned closer to the right side of the card dispense when connected. Connect the PS110001 cable to the 24 Volts power supply (PS000005), and connect the other end of the PS000005 to the power box (outlet).

Connect the card’s dispenser data cable to the card dispenser in the bottom left corner.

The other end of the WH110001 cable is attached to the serial expander board (this connection is closest to the serial expander’s power).

Follow the bill acceptor’s data cable (WH110021) from the green serial expander to the bill acceptor and ensure the pins are properly aligned (The cables must be close to the bottom).

Important
If the pins are not aligned correctly, the VXT reader will not receive data and will display the error message: 'Check Dispenser Connections.'
Connect the other end of the WH110021 cable to the serial expander.

The bill acceptor’s power connection is located near the data cable. Beneath this port, there is the power cable connector. Insert the power cable into the lower connector (you should hear a "click" sound, indicating that the cable is properly and securely connected).

Connect the other end of the bill acceptor’s data cable to the PS110003 power supply, which is then plugged into the power bar (outlet).

Test the bill acceptor’s power
If you want to see if the bill acceptor has power, unplug and then plug the PS110003 power supply. You should hear the bill acceptor’s motor activate, indicating that it is receiving power.
