Summary
This article will show how to wire each part of the VC Credit. The VC Credit Kiosk consists of a VXT card reader, a card dispenser, and a modem. All components must receive both power and data to function properly.
Issue
Wiring the VC Credit.
Environment
VC Credit, formally AVU Credit
Resolution
Connect the VXT’s data cable (black mesh cable) to the Ultra VXT power cable (WH210016).

Connect the WH210016 cable to the power port and one of the outlets on the dual-head 24V adapter.

The VXT reader needs to connect to the card dispenser with a data cable to communicate. On a VC Credit-only kiosk, the VXT reader’s data cable (WH210015) is connected to the COM port on the VXT reader.

Connect the other end of the WH210015 cable to the back of the card dispenser.

Connect the card dispenser is connected to PS110001 cable (connector with a red and black cable) to the 24V power supply (PS000005).

Wires positioning
Make sure the red and black wires are positioned closer to the right-hand side, as this indicates that the cable is connected properly.
The kiosk receives internet by connecting the VXT reader’s LAN port to the modem’s LAN2 port using an Ethernet cable. The modem's antenna is mounted on the top of the kiosk.
