The objective of this document is to cover how to setup an Wascomat Encore dryer. This document goes over the wiring of an Wascomat Encore dryer with connection kit PK160020. Additionally, how to create the machine’s profile in the Cloud Configuration Manager, used for programming the KioSoft card reader.

Programming the Machine Board
To enter programming mode on the Wascomat Crossover machine, press the red button on the back of the board. NOTE: Do not hold for more than 5 seconds, this will factory reset the board. When the button has been pressed, the board will display “8.8.8.8.”
Press “Start” and the machine's display will show “SE”. From here you can use the “No Heat” button (Up) and the “Low Heat” button (Down) to navigate through the machine parameters.
Once you are at the parameter you need to change, press “Start” to adjust the value. The following parameters, shown as numbers below, will need to be changed to match the CommonPulse profile used to set up the KioSoft reader.
COIN1 Value: 031
Default is 25 in both the machine and profile.
Range=”0.00”-”9.99”, omit decimal if register 030=”1”.
Please note: Value of COIN1 used as top off pricing.
Pricing parameters:
040 Amount to start (ATS) for High heat program (range=0.00-9.99, default= 0.00).
041 Amount to start for Medium heat program (range=0.00-9.99, default=0.00).
042 Amount to start for Low heat program (range=0.00-9.99, default=0.00).
043 Amount to start for No heat program (range=0.00-9.99, default=0.00)
Cycle Times
044 Time for ATS for High heat(range=1-90, default=40).
045 Time for ATS for Medium heat(range=1-90, default=40).
046 Time for ATS for Low heat(range=1-90, default=40).
047 Time for ATS for No heat(range=1-90, default=40).
Top off Time (in minutes):
048 Time for additional coin or push for High heat (range = 0-90, default = 6).
049 Time for additional coin or push for Medium heat (range = 0-90, default = 6).
050 Time for additional coin or push for Low heat (range = 0-90, default = 6)
051 Time for additional coin or push for No heat (range = 0-90, default = 6).
Max Dry Time:
052 Max drying time - High (range 1-90, default = 90).
053 Max drying time - Medium (range 1-90, default = 90).
054 Max drying time - Low (range 1-90, default = 90).
055 Max drying time – No Heat (range 1-90, default = 90).
Before Installation
PLEASE UNPLUG LAUNDRY MACHINE
PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF HARNESS
Wiring Instructions
Serial Connection
Connect harness WH160008’s serial cable to the machine’s board CN4. The CN4 cable will be the white and spotted blue cable with 8-pin connector closest to the right-hand side, when the service door is open.
Power Connection
Plug in WH160008’s 4-pin male connector, black & white cable, to laundry machine 4-pin female power cable.
Coin Connection (If applicable)
Connect the WH160008’s coin cable (aqua-blue/teal, orange & white) to the laundry machine’s coin
drop (green, brown & white cable).
Plug in WH160009 into COIN1 connection on the machine. It may have a blue plastic top, boards the back of the machine.
Connect WH160009’s 3-pin connector into the back of the card reader’s coin pulse port.
See “Additional Information” section to identify different coin pulse ports on the KioSoft card readers.
Reader Connection
Connect WH160008’s 10-pin serial cable to reader’s black data cable.
Creating a CommonPulse profile
Please note when using a Common Pulse profile:
You must set the price and cycle time on the board.
Multi-tier pricing is not available with Common Pulse profile.
Under CCM, in Profile Builder for Machine Data/MData enter the following information:
Select “CommonPulse”
Machine Control Type: “Dryer”
After, click on "Advance Options" to view all fields:
Configure machine parameters/fields as needed:
Note: All parameters in the machine’s profile will need to match what is set on the machine board.
The Cycle Time is the amount of time the reader will not accept payment once the machine is in use, unless Top-off is enabled. Please make sure to change the cycle time as needed.
Please set the Top-Off Price and Top-Off Time.
Note: If you are not using Top-Off, set both Top-off Price and Top-Off Time to zero.
Enter the following pulse setting:

Pulse Output = Coin Pulse
Pulse Width = 50
Pulse Rate = 150
Pulse Type = Pulse High
Laundry Available Signal = Low
Extra Laundry Signal Box = Disable
Once machine values are configured, click on “Site Data” and enter location information.
Site Code and Location ID must match the location in Location Management on Laundry Portal
For Location ID and Room#, you should enter the ones that you created previously

Each room will get its own profile.
Non-Network
This should be enabled any time a modem is not present in the room.
Card Holder
Hide Label
This will hide the machine number on Connect and Elevate readers
If applicable, for Payment Options, ensure you select the payment methods for the desired location.
Finally, select “Save Profile” from the drop-down menu and click “Save”
Enter “Custom Text” for easier identification in the KioSoft Laundry Manager Application.
