1. Admin Menu
There are five main functions supported in the Admin Menu at the present stage: About, Key Injection, Profile Upgrade, Reset Card Count, and Exit. The Cash Collection function is also supported for admin users.
Tap the KIOSOFT logo at the upper left corner of the tablet screen five times consecutively and follow the instructions to enter the Admin Menu.
Enter the SRC of the location and tap “Submit.”
Then Enter Username and Password and tap “Sign In.”
The Admin Menu functions are displayed as follows.

If the kiosk is equipped with a KioSoft Edge Box. Please follow the steps below to set the WiFi SSID to match your actual WiFi name.
Tap the words in the top right corner consecutively, then enter the WiFi name and password, and save. [USA Version Only]
2. Profile Upgrade
Please follow the steps below to update the profile on the tablet.
This feature supports software upgrades only. Software degradation is not supported.
1) Tap to select the “Profile Upgrade” button. | 2) Tap the input box of Profile and select the profile desired from the drop-down list displayed. |
3) The progress bar will indicate whether the upgrade is completed. | 4) Normally, it will return to the Admin Menu two seconds after the update is completed. You can tap the “Back” button to return to the idle screen. |
5) Since VC Touch version 1.9.1.0 and VXT version 1300.847.015.012, for the first time to set up the Kiosk, the key injection will be automatically handled via the server after the profile upgrade. 3. Key Injection
3.1 Key Injection (Optional) [USA Version]
Since VC Touch version 1.9.1.0 and VXT version 1300.847.015.012, the key injection will be automatically handled on profile injection if this is the first time to set up the Kiosk. VC Touch also supports manually injecting vendor keys via the Server so that no key cards and technicians need to be on-site when reinjecting the vendor key.
If accidentally, you have to perform a key injection on the tablet manually, you can handle it from the Server or with key cards.
1) Tap to select “Key Injection.” | 2) Select to inject vendor key via “Server” or “Key Cards” on the pop-up window. |
3) If you select to inject vendor keys via Key Cards, follow the guidance to tap the D62 card on the terminal (Ultra VXT reader). | 4) Then follow the guidance on the terminal to tap the F62 card. |
5) If you select to inject vendor keys via Server, the tablet will call API from the server to get keys, then start the key injection both on the tablet and the VXT. | 6) Click the “Back” button after a successful key injection. |
3.1 Key Injection [Canada Version]
Please follow the steps below to perform key injection on the tablet.
1) Tap to select “Key Injection.” | 2) Follow the guidance to tap D62 card on the terminal (Ultra VXT reader). |
3) Then follow the guidance on the terminal to tap F62 card. | 4) Tap “Back” after injection is completed. |
Since version 1.9.0, AVU Touch supports injecting vendor key via KLM so that no key cards and technicians need to be on-site at the time of reinjecting vendor key.
1)Tap the KIOSOFT logo at the upper left corner of the tablet screen for 5 times consecutively. | 2) Enter SRC and click the “Submit” button. |
3) At the bottom right corner of the “Sign In” page, there will be a QR code and machine number that could be used for key injection via KLM. Note: If there is no machine number, it means that the machine has not been set up and you need to perform profile upgrade. If you accidentally skip the key injection and enter the admin menu, the QR code on the admin menu can be used for key injection via KLM. | 4) Click “Inject Vendor Key” on the interface of “Install” on KLM app. Then there are two approaches to injecting the vendor key, either scanning QR code or entering machine number. |
5) Select “Kiosk” to inject vendor key. | 6) You can select to enter machine number or scan QR code to help KLM find the device. |
7) The tablet will start key injection, at the same time send the key injection command and key data to VXT. | 8) The VXT starts key injection after receiving the command. |
9) After completing the key injection, the VXT will return the key injection to the tablet. | 10) The tablet will send the whole key injection result to KLM app. |
11) Only when both the tablet and VXT are successful in key injection, will the KLM display the prompt below indicating the successful key injection result. | |
4. About
Tap the “About” icon on the Admin Menu then you can view the basic information of the kiosk, including the software version to verify whether the upgrade is successful.
Scanning the VXT QR code via KLM, you can get reader info, reboot VXT and perform factory reset.
5. Cash Collection
The VC Touch 21″ kiosk supports the function of cash collection using the tool app KLM. For detailed steps of cash collection, please refer to document KioSoft Logistics Manager App User Manual.
Admin users can perform Collect All and Bag Collection using KLM when the kiosk displays an idle screen but if the machine number of a specific kiosk is demanded, users need to go to the login screen of Admin Menu shown as below. The QR Code and Machine Number of the kiosk is displayed on the page.
If cash collection using KLM fails after the machine number is changed in the CCM Profile and updated to the tablet, users can try to turn off the Bluetooth for a few seconds and re-open it to perform cash collection again.
To avoid the issues that might be caused by poor Bluetooth connection when performing cash collection via KLM, it is suggested that you use the “Cash Collection” button in the Admin Menu. Click this button, the Tablet will perform the cash collection, reset the bill logical counter, and upload the cash collection report to the server.

6. Reset Card Count
When there is no card in card dispensers, users must tap the “Reset Card Count” button after adding cards to card dispensers, otherwise, the low card alert will not be triggered when it’s necessary to add new cards again.
7. Exit
Users can back to the tablet homepage directly by tapping the Exit button in Admin Menu.
1) Tap the Exit button. | 2) If you click the Exit button, a confirmation will pop up. |
3) If you click Yes, it will go back to the tablet homepage. | 4) If you click No, it will go back to the admin menu page. |
