If you are to use the Ultra series readers, you need to create Ultra data for the readers. In this section, you can create the Ultra data, Edit or Delete it as needed.
Click on CleanReader Ultra Data in the navigation menu to enter this section.

Create CleanReader Ultra Data
1) Click “Add” to set up a new CleanReader Ultra Data.

2) Configure the parameters below according to your requirements and then click “Save.” Please refer to the table below for a description of the fields required to create the Ultra data.

Location Code | Numeric | This parameter is assigned to you when you create location and should be same as the Location ID set previously. |
Room# | Numeric | It is the Room # when you create the room and should be the same as the room number set previously. |
Work Mode | Fixed Value | This parameter is determined by the “Ultra Work Mode” field. It is displayed the same as the selection of the “Ultra Work Mode”. |
Custom text | Alpha-Numeric | This field is designated for specifically identifying profiles and should include details such as location name, room number, etc. |
Server Address | Alpha-Numeric | The URL of the Server. |
Payment Gateway | Fixed Value | It is determined by the gateway selected in Location Management => Payment Gateway => Reader Transactions. |
Terminal ID | Numeric | For payment gateway Everlink & AIB. The POS ID for transaction. A unique identifier used in payment processing systems to distinguish different point-of-sale terminals or locations. |
Ultra Transaction Type | Drop-down list | For TSYS & AIB payment gateway. Pre-Authorization: Request the bank to reserve the Pre-Authorization Amount for one day, during which transactions are deducted directly from the reserved amount. Single Authorization: A separate fee is deducted for each transaction. |
HCS POS | Numeric | The POS ID for transactions through TSYS gateway |
HCS Auth Code | Text | It is a code provided to POS for the user to enter when doing POS Authentication through TSYS gateway. |
HCS Auth Factor | Text | The Zip Code of the vendor using TSYS gateway |
Pre-Authorization Amount | Numeric | The amount of the Pre-Authorization type of transaction. It will not display for vendors using AIB Payment Gateway. |
Reboot Time | Drop-down choice | Choose a time for the daily reboot of readers. |
Server Upload Port | Numeric | The port of the Report Server. |
Server Upload Time | Drop-down choice | The settlement time of the reader. Note: For Ultra VXT on the VC (AVU) Touch kiosk, please set the field to 6 PM. |
Ultra Work Mode | Drop-down choice (Master, Backup, Normal, Retail) | Normally when you have multiple machines in a room share one POS ID for bank card transactions, you need to define one machine as the Master machine to own the POS ID and other machines will go through this one for bank communication. For security purposes, one Backup machine shall also be configured just in case the Master machine goes down. And all other remaining machines can be defined as Normal machines. If only one machine uses the POS ID for bank card transaction in this room, you can define it as Retail mode. |
Ultra Coin Support | Drop-down choice (ON / OFF) | If the reader supports payment by coin, choose ON. If not, choose OFF. |
Ultra Coin Timeout | Numeric | This parameter means the valid time after inserting coin, from 1-9. The unit is minute. |
Ultra Offline Mode | Drop-down choice (ON / OFF) | If you choose ON, the reader will still work after it is offline. When the reader is re-connected to network, it will upload the offline transaction data. |
Offline Washer Use | Numeric | The maximum times a card can be used on the washer in offline mode, from 0-9. |
Offline Dryer Use | Numeric | The maximum times a card can be used on the dryer in offline mode, from 0-9. |
Max Card Use Offline | Numeric | The maximum times a card can be used in this room, from 0-9. |
WIFI SSID | Alpha-numeric | The WIFI SSID of the router. It must be identical to the WLAN WIFI SSID in router’s setup. |
Label ID | Numeric | Should be same as the Label ID while doing the KLM setup. |
Edit
If you need to modify an existing Ultra Data profile, or you want to create a new one based on an existing profile, you can use the Edit button.

2) On the Edit page displayed, modify the fields as needed. If you are to save the changes to replace the current profile then click Save button. And if you need to keep the existing one and save a new one, then click Save as new button.

Delete
You can delete the Ultra Data profile(s) created using the Delete button in red. There are two ways to find the desired Ultra Data profile, i.e. using the search bar by inputting the keyword(s) or looking through the profile list. Locate the Ultra Data profile then click the Delete button to delete it.
This action cannot be undone! Please think twice before clicking the Delete button.
