This document provides guidance on the daily cleaning procedures of Kiosk Series 2.2

Daily Cleaning Checklist

1. Check In

Option A: Scan QR code from KC Manager App → Select “≡(Menu)” → Select “My QR Code” → Scan QR code to login kiosk backend → Enable kiosk maintenance mode.

Option B: Enter AP backend with username and password, click “Maintenance”→ “Maintenance Mode” → “Confirm”.

2. Slider (Scale) Cleaning

2.1 Wipe the sink baffle first. If the dirt is not easy to clean, remove left drip tray and large sink damper and clean. The drip tray on the right and the small sink baffle under it are subject to availability. In general, the drip tray and small sink baffle on the right are rarely stained.

2.2 Check the slider for dirt. If very little, just wipe the surface with out moving the baffles. If there is too much dirt, remove the 2 baffles and wipe.

Note: Please make sure that there is no water, dust or any object in it. The frequency of cleaning depends on the situation, you can check every day.

Note: When cleaning the baffles, push the two baffles together so that there are no gaps. Cover as much of the splash as possible.

2.3 Remove the cup holder by pulling and turning the two round parts on the side of the cup holder. Take it off and clean. After cleaning, dry the cup holder and install it back. (Put it back in place and turn the two round parts to back to the original, then the cup holder will be fixed.)

Note: Please ensure that no one is operating the machine at this time.

3. Retrieval Door Cleaning

3.1 Use a clean, damp rag to wipe the retrieval door. The specific cleaning frequency depends on the situation.

4. RCC Ice Maker

4.1 Empty the ice bucket. Push the ice outlet push rod with a cup to empty all ice cubes stored inside the machine.

Note: Do not stop until no ice cube comes out.

4.2 Disassemble accessories.

- 4.2.1 Power off the circuit breaker at front panel when the ice has been emptied.

- 4.2.2 Plug out the power cable.

- 4.2.3 Turn off water switch and plug out water inlet tube.

- 4.2.4 Disassemble the drain tube at bottom.

4.3 Disassemble the upper cover panel. Remove the upper cover panel of ice maker by screwing off the two screws marked.

4.4 Clean the condenser. Blow the condenser with an air gun from the bottom until no dust remains.

4.5 Wipe clean the interior. Wipe clean the ice bucket lid, motor, compressor, as well as other parts with a dry towel.

4.6 Assembly completes. Assemble back all parts removed to their original positions when the maintenance work finishes.

5. Powder Dispenser Cleaning

5.1 Clean each powder dispenser spout.

Clean each powder tray.

3 Clean each powder cable connection.

4 Rotate each nozzle of powder hopper downwards.

6. Powder Cleaning (Rinse) (Weekly)

6.1 Run a rinse cycle on each of the powder dispensers.
- 6.1.1 After logging in, AP shows Admin/ Backend menus.
- 6.1.2 Select 'Powder API'.
- 6.1.3 Remove the grill from the drip tray & wash separately.
- 6.1.4 Select 'Clean' button in Powder API.
- 6.1.5 Watch 3 hot water shots dispensing well from each nozzle.
Note:
If nozzle stream is not smooth, clean plastic nozzle end & powder mixing cup area.
- 6.1.6 Repeat Clean cycle 4-5 times.

6.2 Dry the dispensers thoroughly after rinse cycle
6.3 Check all water drained from the drip tray
6.4 Remove drip tray & clean
6.5 Replace the drip tray & grill to original location

Note 1: Clogging can easily occur depending on type of powder, mixture ratio etc. Recommend to start doing powder cleaning 1-2x/wk & adjust schedule accordingly.

Note 2: If necessary, run the rinse cycle manually on the powder machine by pressing the single button (the green one ) below the manual switch on the inside of the machine face.

7. RCC Milk Frother Cleaning

7.1 Start 'Cleaning' on RCC milk frother

-7.1.1 Pour 30ml detergent into cleaning container, add 0.7L water, and put milk tube into the container.
-7.1.2 Click the icon at top left of milk frother screen, click “Start Cleaning”, then click “Start Now” on the cleaning routine prompt box.

Note: After clicking the “Start Cleaning” button, the milk frother will dispense water automatically into the cleaning container, mix the detergent and water, and heat up the mixture, which will be sucked into milk frother to clean and will be dispensed out from the milk nozzle.

7.2 Clean the milk tube

- 7.2.1 When the cleaning cycle in last step is done (there will be notice on screen), take the milk tube out, wipe it clean with soft cloth, then put milk tube back into the milk container.

7.3 Wipe the machine

- 7.3.1 Continue to wipe clean the milk nozzle, drain tray, as well as other surfaces of the machine.

7.4 Order the beverage to test

- 7.4.1 When the whole cleaning work has competed, make an order of milk-containing product on Kiosk touch screen to test if the milk line is in good functioning state.

Note: If there is notice of water/milk shortage, please check water/milk source and see if refilling is required, to refill water/milk: Put water/milk in place (e.g., barreled water) -> Click the “Refill Water” / “Refill Milk” button on screen -> The machine will start refilling water/milk automatically.

When the refilling is done, observe carefully the small hole hiding inside the drain tray, there will be water/milk coming out from this hole.

8. Cup Dispenser Cleaning

8.1 Disconnect the cables of cup dispenser.

8.2 Screw off cup dispenser from the stainless table and wipe clean the base and outer metal case with a damp soft cloth.

8.3 Take out all cups and take off the five transparent acrylic cup tubes.

8.4 Wash the transparent acrylic cup tubes with clean water.

8.5 Wipe dry the transparent acrylic cup tubes with a clean soft cloth.

8.6 Put back the cleaned acrylic cup tubes and reload cups.

9. Lid Dispenser Cleaning

Note:

Pull the lid dispenser by holding the yellow rubber strip on both sides of the lid dispenser slide and pulling outwards.

9.1 Disconnect the cables of lid dispenser.

9.2 Screw off lid dispenser from the stainless table and wipe clean the base and outer metal case with a damp soft cloth.

9.3 Take out all cups and take off the five transparent acrylic cup tubes.

9.4 Wash the transparent acrylic cup tubes with clean water.

9.5 Wipe dry the transparent acrylic cup tubes with a clean soft cloth.

9.6 Put back the cleaned acrylic cup tubes and reload cup.

9.7 Wipe clean the glide rail with a damp clean cloth.

10. Liquid Waste Pump

10.1 Always disconnect the pump from power source before handling any cleaning to the pump.

10.2 Routine maintenance is not required on the pump itself, but associated connections may require occasional attention.

10.3 Lint and foreign objects should be removed from the trap periodically.

10.4 The check valve on the discharge should also be checked for freedom of operation at the same time.

11. Syrup Dispenser

11.1 Wipe the housing of beverage dispenser on a daily basis with a soft damp cloth and warm water to remove dust, splashes, or any other stains attached on the machine’s surface.

11.2 Remove the magnetic compound nozzle and wipe dry the syrup nozzle with clean soft cloth and warm water, as well as the surfaces that are easily splashed with syrup or other liquids. Hold the buttons on both sides of the magnetic composite nozzle by hand and remove the composite nozzle. Wipe it with a clean, damp rag or wash with water.

Note: Place the baffle plate of the pipe above the composite nozzle correctly. Place it as shown.

11.3 Prepare 2 pcs of 2L water tanks, one is filled with 1.5L, 95°C hot water.

11.4 Push back all remaining syrups in the tube.

Method 1: 1) Enter AP backend by scanning the QR code generated by KCM App at kiosk scanner (or enter with username and password).

2) Click 'Syrup API' -> Click 'Clean All'. After clicking the button, the screen of syrup dispenser will enable the

cleaning interface, press 'OK' to empty the beverage hoses (let the residual syrup in hoses flow back to beverage bottle).

Method 2: Instead of sending commands from AP backend, operate directly on the control panel of syrup dispenser by clicking the 'Clean' button.

11.5 Open the door of syrup dispenser machine.

11.6 Pull out all tubes into the container with 1.5L hot water, put another container under the font which dispenses the syrup.

11.7 Flush all tubes by hot water.

11.8 Remove the water tanks and put the tube into each bottle as previous sequence.

11.9 Refill each syrup until the syrup can be dispensed from the font.

12. Blusoda

External cleaning of the unit

*Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

To clean the unit, use the BLUSTEEL ULTRAMICROFIBRA cloth, which is specifically designed for Blusoda. Alternatively, you can use a soft cloth and a dedicated product for the cleaning of stainless steel. To remove limescale, use DAILY CLEANER SPRAY and rinse after use.

Note: DO NOT USE alcohol or solvent-based products or excessively acidic solvents that can ruin the surface of the steel.

Drip Tray Cleaning

When it is necessary to clean the drip tray, use a diluted limescale cleaner(citric acid or similar).

The drip tray can also be washed in the dishwasher.

Dispensing Nozzles Cleaning

On a daily basis, spray a diluted hydrogen peroxide solution (e.g. Cooler Clean) onto the nozzles.

Keypad Cleaning

Before cleaning the keypad, it is essential to turn off the unit to avoid accidental water supply.

Clean with a soft cloth and alcohol-free glass-cleaning products

Note: DO NOT USE a jet of water to clean the unit, or detergents with abrasives. Light scratches can be removed with CREAMY CLEANER.

13. Small Fridge

13.1 Monitor ice build-up status weekly
13.2 Conduct defrost every 2 weeks (adjust frequency as needed)
13.3 Defrost by shutting down fridge (summer ~2-3 hrs | winter takes longer)

14. Small Fan

14.1 Take apart the outer case of fan from the positions marked by red box with a slotted screwdriver.

14.2 Take off the fan cover by lifting it upwards.

14.3 Take out the cotton filter that is already worn out.

14.4 Put the new cotton filter into the groove.

14.5 Lock the buckle at fan cover's upper part (marked by red box) tightly.

14.6 Press downwards the lower part of fan cover to fix it securely.

15. Check Out

15.1 Check out of 'Maintenance Mode'.
- 15.1.1 Select Brand logo multiple times on "Maintenance Mode" screen.
- 15.1.2 Login page pop up (No need to login here unless need access Admin menus) .
- 15.1.3 Select 'Back'.
