Document Overview
The objective of this document is to cover how to setup a Whirlpool (Green Button) laundry machine with and without coin usage. This document goes over the wiring of a Whirlpool (Green Button) with connection kit PK140003. Additionally, how to create CommonPulse profile in the Cloud Configuration Manager, used for programming the KioSoft card reader.

Before Installation
PLEASE UNPLUG LAUNDRY MACHINE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF HARNESS
Wiring Instructions
Coin Connection (If Applicable)
Connect the female red and white cables into the coin slide’s connections.
Connect WH140008’s 2-by-2 male coin cable connector into machine female 2-by-2 connector
On the machine board, located the J17 connection.
Take the single lead red wiring on WH140008 and splice the cable into the machine’s red cable on J17 connection.
Power Connection
Locate J7 on the machine board, where the black and white power cables are connected.
Using the blue tabs included in the kit, splice WH120006 into the machine’s matching cable colors; black to black and white to white.
Then plug in WH140008’s female power connection, black and white, into WH120006’s male connector.
Card Reader Connection
Plug card reader’s data cable into WH140008 ‘s into card reader connection
Card Reader Jumper
Readers out of the box, will have the jumper set to “A” side. When using ADC, this must be moved over to the “B” side. See “Additional Information” section for jumper identification on different KioSoft readers.
The jumper’s pins need to be horizontal and not vertical. The jumper has two parts, each with two pins. Make sure both pieces are moved closer to the right “B” side. Example image above shows an Ultra LX reader’s jumper moved to the “B” side.
Creating a Pulse profile
Please note when using a Common Pulse profile:
You must set the price and cycle time on the board.
Multi-tier pricing is not available with Common Pulse profile.
Under CCM, in the Profile Builder Select the following for Machine Data
Select “CommonPulse”
Select “Washer” or “Dryer”
Enter the desired Vend Price & Cycle Time. Value must match settings on machine board.
When using a CommonPulse Profile, the Cycle Time is the amount of time the reader will not accept payment, once the machine is in use. Please make sure to change the cycle time as needed.
After, click on "Advance Options" enter the following pulse setting.
Pulse Output = Relay ON
Relay ON Time= 35 seconds
Leave all other setting as default

Once machine values are configured, click on “Site Data” and enter location information.
Site Code and Location ID must match the location in Location Management on Laundry Portal
For Location ID and Room#, you should enter the ones that you created previously

Each room will get its own profile.
Non-Network
This should be enabled any time a modem is not present in the room.
Card Holder
Hide Label
This will hide the machine number on Connect and Elevate readers
If applicable, for Payment Options, ensure you select the payment methods for the desired location.
Finally, select “Save Profile” from the drop-down menu and click “Save”
Enter “Custom Text” for easier identification in the KioSoft Laundry Manager Application.
