Wiring Instructions

Coin Connections

Original Maytag MFR terminal block connections shown below for reference.

Coin Out to Machine

Remove machine terminal block clear tab connectors and connect to the harness’s female spades according to the following directions:

  • Machine green (COIN1) cable to harness green cable

  • Machine blue cable to harness blue cable

  • Machine red cable to harness red cable

Coin In to Terminal

  • Machine terminal red to harness green cable

  • Machine terminal blue to harness black cable

  • Green cable (COIN2) with clear tab remains on terminal

  • Machine terminal yellow to harness white cable

Serial Connection

Plug in the serial connector, orange and black cable, from WH130029 to the laundry machine’s motherboard, labeled as L1. Example image of control board below, control board colors may vary.

Power Connections

Connect the AC Power Adaptor PS100007’s 2 pin cable male cable into WH130029’s 2- pin female power connector.

Afterwards, connect PS100007’s brown and blue 2 pin connector into WH120006’s black and white cable.

Then connect WH120006’s black and white cable using the blue tabs to splice into the laundry machine for power.

NOTE: Please consult the Owner’s Manual, under the installation section, before fully connecting WH120006 & PS100007 Power Adaptorto your laundry machine. Depending on the machine model and voltage, connections may vary. For guidance, PS100007 Power Adaptor accepts a wide input from 100- 240  V – 50-60HZ 0.8A  and output of 12V.

For example: In the reference images shown below, the power line is located on the top left side of the machine, shown in a red circle on see image below. WH120006’ s black cable would be spliced into machines' black cable. Then WH120006’s white black cable would be splice into machines' white  cable.

Card Reader Connection

Plug card reader’s data cable into WH1P0002’s card reader connection.

Card Reader Jumper

Readers out of the box, will have the jumper set to “A” side. For the MFR30, this must be moved over to the “B” side. See “Additional Information” section for jumper identification on different KioSoft readers.

The jumper’s pins need to be horizontal and not vertical. The jumper has two parts, each with two pins. Make sure both pieces are moved closer to the right “B” side. Example image above shows an Ultra LX reader’s jumper moved to the “B” side.

Creating a Universal Pulse profile

Note: When using Universal Pulse Profile in CCM, readers must be 2.71.0 or higher & under KLM app reader needs to be programmed as a “CleanReader” not “Ultra”.

Under CCM, in the Profile Builder, Select “Universal” then “Universal Pulse”

Enter desired information under the following tabs: ”Location”, ”Machine Profile” and ”Products, Pricing

and Timing”.

Once completed, under the “Pulse” tab enter the following pulse setting for a MFR30:

Output = RelayPulse

Output Pulse Gap = 100 Pulse Polarity = Idle Open Output Pulse Duration = 50

Laundry Available Signal = Low

Proceed to fill out the following tabs as needed “Payment Types and Methods” and “Data Processing”. Finally, select “Save Profile” from the drop-down menu and click “Save

  • Enter “Custom Text” for easier identification in the KioSoft Laundry Manager Application.

  • Example of Custom Text Label: Location Name RM1 MFR30PD [5.50]
