Reader Firmware Requirement

The Quantum Pro machine profile is supported on Solo connects starting at version 1.24.3 and up. Non- connected readers must be on version 2.24.3 or higher.

You may receive a red “X” after attempting to program the reader on KLM app if the version below requires Quantum Pro. To update firmware on the reader, you will need a modem on site and update via KLM app or use a download station.

Machine Board Firmware Requirement

We recommend version 5.000, 7.000, and 8.000 for all readers. Firmware can be checked by turning the laundry machine on and off. The firmware version will flash quickly on the display.

If the version is not 5.000, 7.000, or 8.000 you will need to upgrade or downgrade the firmware version on the machine. Please contact Alliance if you need assistance with board firmware.

Programming machine board into CARD Mode
