Changing machine board to SERIAL mode

With the ACA machine off, verify the machine is set to “Serial Payment System” mode by looking at the dipswitches on machine board.

Dipswitches are located on the bottom left of the board. Only dipswitch 3 needs to be on, all others are off. See example of machine board images below.

If the machine is left on while making changes to the dipswitches, the changes may not take effect. Power cycle the machine afterwards.

Creating an ACA profile

Under CCM, in the Profile Builder:

Select the following for Machine Data

Select manufacturer as “Aliance”

Select Machine Control Type as “ACA”, then, select machine type:

Please note: The ACA laundry machines from year 2020 need an ACA MAX profile.

With an ACA MAX profile, the reader is pulling the vend price from the machine board. You must set the desired vend price on the machine board.

After, click on "Advance Options" and configure machine fields (vend price, time, etc.,) as   needed.

Once machine values are configured, click on “Site Data” and enter location information.

  • Site Code and Location ID must match the location in Location Management on Laundry Portal

  • For Location ID and Room#, you should enter the ones that you created previously

See image below regarding Site Data’s field values.

  1. Location ID

  2. Site Code

  3. Room Number

      • Each room will get its own profile.

  1. Non-Network

      • This should be enabled any time a modem is not present in the room.

  1. Card Holder

  2. Hide Label

      • This will hide the machine number on Connect and Prime readers

If applicable, for Payment Options, ensure you select the payment methods for the desired location.

Finally, select “Save Profile” from the drop-down menu and click “Save

  • Enter “Custom Text” for easier identification in the KioSoft Laundry Manager Application.

  • Example of Custom Text Label: Location Name RM1 ACA Dryer [225/45mins]
