LG 1.8 Key Button Layout:

  • First Button: Go back a step

  • Second Button: Move up or increase value

  • Third Button: Move down or decrease value

  • Start Button: Select.


RESOLUTION:

  1. Enter Programming Mode

    1. Press the First and Third buttons while in this screen to enter Programming Mode.

  1. You’ll be prompted with a password, the Default Password is “3000”

  • Use the Second and Third buttons to input the password and then hit Start/Select

  1. You’ll be inside the Service Test menu by default when the display shows “L9C1”, hit the First button to exit this menu.

  1. Once out of the Test menu use the Second and Third buttons to navigate until you find Setup.

  • Hit Start/Select to enter the Setup menu.

  1. Once inside the Setup menu, use the Second and Third buttons to navigate until you find Type.

  • Once again, hit the Start/Select button to enter this new menu.

  1. Here you will navigate up or down until you find the following option.

  • Inside this option you will find the following.

  • This value can be set to either 0 or 1.

    • 0 means the universal pulse will work

    • 1 means it won’t work.

    7. Leave “Cndr” as 0. and then press start.
