Issue

VC Kiosk can’t connect to the Network.


Environment

AVU Kiosk, AVU Credit & Cash, AVU Cash HS, VC Credit, VC Cash.


  1. First, we’ll tap the KioSoft logo on the top center of the VXT Reader until the Manager Password appears.

  1. Input the 8-digit password and click Confirm to enter the Admin Menu

  1. Tap on Terminal Config.

  1. You will be prompted to tap the Admin Card to the front of the terminal.

  • Please note if the admin is held too long, it will give a “Wrong Admin Card Error”.

  1. Enter the 4-digit Admin Password. (This password will be specific to your admin card.)

  1. Tap on Config.

  1. The next GUI will appear on screen.

  • The Buttons, circled in red, will be how you move in this menu.

    • U: Up the menu

    • A: Accept

    • D: Down the menu

    • O: Back

  1. Press A while Setup is on screen.

  1. We’re now inside the Setup config. We’ll move up or down with U or D until we find “Network Connectivity”.

  1. Once Network Connectivity is on screen. Press A again.

  1. After the Network Connectivity has been enabled, wait a couple seconds until you see this on screen.

  1. Press O and the changes should be saved.

  • You can retrace your steps and confirm that the Network connectivity has been enabled.
