Summary
KioSoft provides a unique 5-digit kiosk reference number used to configure and download settings for each kiosk. This article explains how to download the reference number, also referred to as programming a VXT Kiosk for a specific location.
Issue
Program a VXT Kiosk to a location.
Environment
VC Credit, formally known as AVU Credit, VC Cash, VC Cash HS
Resolution
Tap the KioSoft logo in the top center of the Ultra VXT reader 5 times to enter the kiosk's Admin menu.

Input the 8–digit password and click “Confirm” to enter the admin menu.

Tap on "Terminal Config"

Authentication (the steps to follow may differ depending on the version)
Old Washboard (Not on KioCentral) | KioCentral and with the latest kiosk firmware |

A) You will be prompted to tap the admin card to the front of the terminal.
| A) Log in to the KLM app and go to Service> Authenticate.

B) Enter the 4-digit admin password, specific to your admin card.
| B) Then, scan the QR code on the VC Kiosk.

Firmware version
If your kiosk is not connected to KioCentral and is running older firmware (version 1.14.0 or lower), refer to the information shown on the left side of the chart above.
For kiosks with firmware version 1.14.4 or higher (and connected to KioCentral), follow the steps shown on the right side of the chart
Then tap on the 'General'.

Tap on 'Param download'.

Enter the 5-digit reference number, each kiosk will have its unique reference number (VC Kiosks cannot share a reference number).

Download failed
If you receive a "Download failed" error, please verify that the modem is connected to the kiosk.
For the VC Kiosk accepting credit card transactions, you will return to the previous page and tap on "Activate POS" so customers can use their credit cards.
