How to provide bonus funds to a mobile account in KioCentral

Summary

This document will show step by step how to add bonus funds to a mobile account by using KioCentral. A customer's mobile wallet in the CleanPay app has two types of balances: the credit balance, which represents the amount the customer has paid and the revenue received, and the bonus balance, which is added through rewards programs or is used as a form of refund from the operator.


Issue

Provide bonus fund to a mobile account.


Environment

KioCentral, Version: 3.62.2.0.


Resolution

  1. Log in to the Vendor Portal and select the 'Issue Refund' drop-down in the menu on the right.

  1. Select To Mobile Account

  1. Click on the 'Submit Mobile Refund' Tab

  1. Select the Customer Email drop-down and search for your mobile app account via email address. 

  1. Choose to add balance as 'BONUS BALANCE,' enter the amount and add a note related to the refund.

Reminder

Once the refund is submitted, it will appear in the record log. Note that on KioCentral, the email address of the person who issued the refund will be displayed in the log. It is advised to include a note stating the reason for the bonus funds.
