Before Wiring:

Change the laundry machine’s board setting to COIN mode and adjust the value of Coin1 and Coin2 to 25 cents.

Instructions

Machine Display

To enter Setup Mode, all four buttons must be pressed within 4 seconds in the following order:

Power Wash, Extra Rinse, Temperature, Delicates

Press the left “soft” button to toggle down to the next screen until “To Program Mode PRESS START” is displayed.

Press START. You will see the Main Menu Screen. If a password was enabled, first you have to enter the correct password (default is Power Wash x4 times) and press START to confirm.

Once the Main Menu appears, press the START button to select the “Price Menu”.

At the Pricing Menu, select ‘General’ by pressing the ‘START” button again.

Press the START button with option 1 selected

(“1. Value of Coin 1”)

Adjust the value of Coin1 to 25 cents and then save by pressing the START button.

Note: Use the Soft left button (bottom unlabeled) to increase. The Normal for left, and Delicates for right.

Next, select the “Value of Coin2” by pressing the soft left button and then pressing the START button.  

Adjust the value of Coin2 to 25 cents. Save changes by pressing START again.

Note: When using both coin and card, both Coin1 and Coin2 connections are used on the terminal block.

The navigate to the option “6. Coin/Debit” by pressing the soft left button. Adjust the setting to “COIN/CARD” when using KioSoft’s PK130021. Then press the START button to save changes.

Press the soft left button to scroll down and select the EXIT option by pressing the START button.

Then press the STOP button to exit of the menu.

Power cycle the laundry machine for the changes to take effect.

PLEASE CONFIRM THE LAUNDRY MACHINE IS OFF BEFORE WIRING.


Debit Connector:

Locate “J_L” connection on the MXR machine board, see below for reference.

Plug in the debit connector, orange and black cable, from WH130029 to the laundry machine’s motherboard, labeled as “J_L”.  Example image of control board below, control board colors may vary.

To Machine Connections:

Carefully remove the machine’s terminal block tab connectors one at a time to avoid confusion or miswiring. Then attach each machine wire to the corresponding quick disconnect as follows:

  • Machine green (COIN1) cable to harness green cable  

  • Machine blue cable to harness blue cable

  • Machine red cable to harness red cable

To Terminal Block Connections:

Insert the “To Terminal Block” quick-disconnect connectors into the terminal block, matching the wire colors from the coin drop (as shown at the top of the image below).

The second green wire (COIN2) should remain connected to its original connection and should not be moved.

Power Connections:

PLEASE CONFIRM THE LAUNDRY MACHINE IS OFF BEFORE PROCEEDING

Please consult the Owner’s Manual, under the installation section, before fully connecting WH120006 & PS100007 Power Adaptor to your laundry machine. Depending on the machine model and voltage, connections may vary.

PS100007 Power Adaptor accepts a wide input from 100-240 V – 50-60HZ 0.8A and output of 12V.    

Connect the AC Power Adaptor PS100007’s 2 pin cable male cable into WH130029’s 2- pin female power connector.

Then, connect PS100007’s brown and blue 2 pin connector into WH120006’s black and white cable.

Then connect WH120006’s black and white cable using the blue tabs to splice into the laundry machine for power.

Card Reader Connection:

Plug card reader’s data cable into WH130029’s card reader connection and confirm the reader’s AB jumper is in the B position. Below is an example with a VQM reader.
