Document Review
This document is intended to introduce what kinds of localization options can be set in the vendor portal and how they work.
The localization configurations include
Tax: tax type, tax name, tax tiers, tax rate.
Payment Method
Language
Tax
The tax is set on the location level.
The tax has multiple kiosk types.
Each kiosk type has multiple amount tiers to set per the tax value.
'KioCafe Management System' → 'Location Management' → 'Location Detail' → 'Edit Location' → 'Address'.

The explanation of fields involved:
Case 1 “Tax Required” as “No”

Tax Explanation | Text | The text will be shown as the explanation in the receipt when “Tax required = No” Sample “No tax required.” |

Tax Number

Tax Type | Text | Mutiple tax type can be added. For example: “Sales Tax”, “HPF” are both required in the same location, then the operator can insert 2 tax types |
Tax Name
| Text | It is for the sub item of each tax type. Multiple tax names per tax type can be added.

Tax Tiers Required | Single selection | Yes: the tax rate will be different per different order amount range. No: the tax rate will be the same for any order amount. Default: No |
Thresholds | Numeric | It is for the break point of the order amount. It can be added multiple. |

| After “tax type” “tax name” “tax tier thresholds” are set up, there will be a matrix table to set the tax rate per tax type per tax name per order amount range. |
Online Payment Gateways
In the customer mobile app, customer needs to refill the wallet balance by online credit cart registration and payment. Now we support 2 online payment gateways as below:
US: IBX > it needs to set the merchant ID and credential info on the location level.
CA: OSOAP > it needs to set up the merchant ID and credential info on the vendor level.
US IBX Online Payment Gateway
'KioCafe Management System' → 'Settings → 'Payment' → 'App Payment'.

Language
For kiosk order and pickup screens, the system supports multi languages including English, Spain, Chinese, Arabic.
‘KioCafe Management System’ → ‘Settings’ → ‘Languages’ → ‘Create Language’.

Customer can switch language in the kiosk order touchscreen.
