Key Points

Reader Version:

This feature is supported on the Elevate Card Connect version is 0100.299.000.004. the reference number is 80850 (It’s based on the version 0100.298.005.005, which support the Mifare card validation function).

Card Copying Risk:

Our laundry cards may potentially be copied using highly sophisticated tools. These tools are complex and expensive, making them inaccessible to the general public.

Detection Mechanism:

Our readers can detect copied cards. When a copied card is encountered, an "E43" error will display on the reader, and the card balance will reduced to zero.

Handling Consumer Inquiries:

  • If a consumer contacts you regarding an E43 error, do not mention fraudulence.

  • Request a picture of both sides of the card and ask when they last added funds.

  • Compile a report including the card number, load date, and amount.

Handling Operator Inquiries:

  • Inform operators that the card is detected as fraudulent.

  • Ask them to gather the same information: card photos, load date, and amount.

Note on RCP-Created Cards

Be aware that cards created with an RCP may also be flagged as fraudulent.

Please adhere to these guidelines carefully to ensure we handle these situations appropriately. Thank you for your cooperation and attention to this matter. Do not hesitate to contact the Product Team for further assistance.
