Refill User Account-Manager Only

As a store manager, you can refill a user account by scanning the QR code provided by the customer.

The LAVA KIOS APP and LAVA PAY APP now support both Value Mode and Credits Mode. The Refill User Account page is a little bit different in layout between the two modes. Please follow the steps below to refill user account in the two modes.

Value Mode

  1. Tap Refill User Account option on the main menu.

  1. The customer opens LAVA PAY and taps the Add Funds button on the homepage.

    The Store Manager scans the QR code provided by the customer.

  1. Once scanning is complete, details such as account information, credit balance, and bonus balance will be displayed.

    Enter the refill amount and tap the “Next” button.

  1. The prompt below will indicate the refill is successful.

Credits Mode

  1. Tap the Refill User Account option on the main menu.

  1. The customer opens LAVA Pay and taps the Add Funds button on the homepage.

    The Store Manager scans the QR code provided by the customer.

  1. Once scanning is complete, details such as account information, credit balance, and bonus balance will be displayed along with a list of preset refill options.

    Select the refill option according to customer’s needs.

    Note: Each option will clearly display both the number of credits and the corresponding cost side by side.

  1. The prompt below will indicate the refill is successful.

Note:

  1. The preset refill options displayed on LAVA KIOS are from the Loyalty Program server. And if the loyalty program is disabled, LAVA KIOS will get refill settings from location management.

  2. Both the manager and customer need to log in to the same Mode to refill their account, or the top-up won’t be allowed. For example, if the manager logs in to Credits Mode while the customer logs in to Value Mode, the top-up is not allowed; however, if both log in to Credits Mode, the Credits can be topped up.
