Remote Upgrade

The VC Tablet will complete remote upgrade under the following three conditions.

First, the tablet will at the time defined in the CCM profile applied to the kiosk, call the relevant API to check daily whether a new software version of the tablet app is uploaded and download it when such a new version is detected.

The upgrade action of the tablet will be triggered when a user taps the “Back” button from any function of the kiosk to return to the idle screen for the first time after the software downloading is completed.

Second, the Location is configured with multiple languages. Upload the new version of AVU to Washboard, and click the language switch button to perform a remote upgrade.

Third, in the Admin Menu interface, click the button “Exit” and then tap the AVUTOUCH icon.

After the new version app is installed, the tablet will open the app and go to the idle screen automatically.
