To implement a self-service Kiosk transfer flow for Laundry customers and enable the migration of existing ESD card balances to new PayRange Cloud Cards, a new button, Transfer Balance, has been added. With this functionality, customers could transfer their ESD balances to PayRange Cloud Cards through 24/7 self-service access. And once the balances are transferred successfully, the ESD card will be permanently deactivated.

CCM Profile Configuration

  1. After logging in to the KioCentral, click Profile Builder → Universal → Universal AVU → Machine Profile, and you can select the AVU Type as needed.

  1. After selecting the AVU Type, tap Price and Configuration → Basic Config, and then a new field “Transfer Station” will be displayed. It is disabled by default, and when it’s enabled, the “TRANSFER BALANCE” button will be displayed on the kiosk idle page.

When completing the changes on CCM Profile, please remember to save the profile and upgrade profile on the kiosk.

Transfer Balance on Kiosk

Please follow the steps below to transfer the balance on the kiosks.

  1. Click the button “Transfer Balance”.

  1. Insert the ESD Card in the reader below as instructed.

  1. Then the reader will read the card, and display the card balance, balance transfer confirmation, and warnings, if the card is valid.

    If not, the card cannot be read, and a pop-up window will prompt “Invalid Card”.

  1. After successfully reading the card, tap “Yes” to proceed, or “No” to exit and return to the idle page.

    When tapping “Yes”, the reader will start to deactivate the ESD Card. Please note that you do not remove the ESD Card or power off during the process.

    If there is any error, an error message will display.

  1. When the deactivation is successful, the kiosk will dispense a new Cloud Card, register, and refill it with the ESD Card balance.

If the kiosk fails to kill the ESD card, an error message will display.

  1. When successfully dispensing and refilling the new card, the kiosk will display “Transfer Successful”. And the old card can be removed.

If the kiosk fails to dispense or refill the new card, an error message will be displayed.
